Points for 2006

We are looking to possibly rent points for Poly (?), Wilderness Lodge, or Yacht/Beach Club from April 28-May 7, 2006. We would need either a 2 bedroom or 2 seperate rooms. How does this work and how much would it cost? Thanks! (new at this...)

Many of the places you mentioned are not DVC hotels: therefore, the cost to you would be cheaper to pay cash to them, rather than trying to rent points. Only WLV and BCV are DVC resorts. For the BCV a two bedroom during your time is 500 pts, or approximately $5000. You may want to rethink your dates, eliminating the weekends.

We have 4 adults and 1 child (5 years old). My parents want their own room (mom likes privacy). It is pretty expensive to get 2 rooms at WL (approx 7000.00 - with regular passes - no hoppers). Just looking at all our options.

try not staying on Fri/sat using DVC points - this is really expensive

BCV - sun-thurs 30 points per night - so it would be $300 per night - so for the 5 days $1,500 - anyway you can start April 30 and then stay 10 nights.

that will be only one weekend and will bring it down to 270 (one week) plus 150 - so 420 points - so $4,200.

it is the double weekends that is making it so high.

BCV and VWL (the one at WL) will rent from a DVC member for the same price - they are the same points.
