Points banked...When do they expire?

We just bought a 150pt contract for VWL. Use year is June. The seller had 150pts banked from '06.

My question.

Are the 150pts from '06 good until June '08? or June '07?

Points banked from a June '06 use year should be used between June 1, 2007 & May 31, 2008.

We are good now...we are planning an Oct. '07 trip = 167pts. and a Vero Beach in April '08 = 120pts.

We should have 13pts left on our June '07 use year. I assume that we should bank those for June '08-'09?

I know they have specific time limits as to when you can bank and what percentage. That is kinda tricky to calculate.

If you won't need them for a stay before 5/31/2008, then yes, you should bank them into your 2008 use year.

You'll have until the end of March 2008 to bank those extra 2007 use year points. That's because the 25% banking deadline for a June 2007 use year is the end of the following March.

13 is less than 25% of your total annual allotment and you won't have any other 2007 points in the bank, so you can use the 25% deadline. With a June use year, there is no banking allowed in April or May, so don't forget to bank those 13 points, LOL!
