Forest Gump was on television last night and we tuned in even though we already seen the movie several times and it got me thinking --

"What movie(s) can't you pass by when flipping thru the channels even though you've already watched them over and over?"

You know those lazy winter weekends when TBS on cable plays the same movie several times and it sucks you in!

Mine would be:
Breakfast Club
On Golden Pond
16 Candles
Ferris Buehlers Day Off

You can obviously tell my demographic/age based on my choices! ;)

Field of Dreams :cloud9:

Even though I can recite the dialogue, I still bawl like a baby at the end :rotfl2:

Two Weeks Notice always sucks me in.

I've also watched Without a Paddle at least 4 times in the last 7 days. It always seems to be the movie channels lately.

Mine are anything with Kevin Costner especially Bull Durham, JFK and No Way Out..

Pretty Woman
Ferris Bueller
Pretty In Pink
Breakfast Club
Serendipity (Love it)
Underworld
Steel Magnolias

Edited to add...

Americain President
When Harry Met Sally
Daddy Long Legs (Fred Astaire)
Three Days of the Condor (Robert Redford) I love this one soooo much.

and Elvis Movies if I am with my MOM...

For DH (StarWarsMan) it's obviously any Star Wars Films...Skywalker, DH loves your screen name... :yoda:

The only movies that I will never turn off are the Star Wars ones. If I see them playing, even though I have seen them countless times before, I cannot turn them off. It is like automatic pilot, I go make the popcorn and take a comfortable seat. LOL.

even though we own them on dvd..I never fail to stop and watch them when they are on tv..
ghost
everafter
wizard of oz

Mine are:

Jerry Maguire (watched it twice last weekend)
Field of Dreams
A League of Their Own
Bull Durham
Ferris Buehler

I also own all these movies and it drives DS15 nuts that I stop and watch them every time I come across them on TV. Just can't help myself LOL.

You've Got Mail
Dune (with Kyle MacLachlan)
Night of the Comet
Legend
Interview with a Vampire

Generally any Sci/Fi Fantasy, Nora Ephron & Vampire/Werewolf flick is up for grabs. However I have seen them too many times!!! Starting to get bored with them.
I never got out to see the new Underworld. New fodder for my list soon.

I never miss the yearly airings of "Gone With the Wind" & "The Sound of Music". They're my favorites. :)

I also always find myself watching "The Wizard of Oz", "Pretty Woman", and "Dirty Dancing". It never fails; everytime they're on, I watch.

Gone in 60 seconds
The Fifth Element
The Joy luck Club

Heavy duty chick flicks for me:
Pretty Woman
Something To Talk About
While You Were Sleeping

It doesn't matter how many times I've seen them, or if I own them, I still stop and watch the TV Broadcast.

My husband and oldest son have watched The Italian Job and The Fast and the Furious over and over and over during the past few months. Boys with toys ;)

pirates, I can't even begain to count how many times I have seeen this movie. LOL

I love all romantic comedies...
How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days
Maid in Manhattan
Lucky Seven (w/ Kimberly Williams-Paisley)
See Jane Date
Sweet Home Alabama
