Point Season change during a stay

This may be a dumb question but I seem to remember someone saying if the point "season" changes during your stay, the point season that you checked in will stay in place for your entire stay?
Any truth to that ( if what I wrote makes sense )

Nope. Each day is it's own points, no matter what season. If you book two weeks at Christmas time, you could be under three different seasons - Choice Season in mid-December, Premier Season for the week of Christmas and Adventure Season for January.

no.

disney used to do that for cash hotel stays.

but for DVC, the point cost is charged "per night". if your stay crosses seasons, you pay for each night based on the season.
