Point availablility after Cancellation??

If you cancel a reservation online, how long does it take to have the points be available to make a reservation online?

I was just wondering this same thing! I need to switch resorts at the 7th month.

I just did this because I had to switch from a 1BR to a 2BR for an august reservation. It was immediate.

It's always happened immediately for me.

I just did this yesterday. They were returned right away and I was able to book our new room using the same points.

We did it last night, decided to do 2 nights at club level had to cancel our VGF that used our AK points book the AK club level room (it was more that 7 months out so needed home resort) then rebook GF using Hilton head points.
