Point Add On Directly from Disney

We are in the waiting stage for ROFR from Disney. Our contract was submitted February 4th. If we want to add on directly from Disney will they automatically put the added points in the same use year? If our add on is from a different resort will they still put the same use year as our original resort? For the ease of tracking points I would really like everything in the same use year is this difficult to accomplish?

to add-on directly, you have no choice BUT to add the same UY month. if they have points in inventory in a different UY month but not yours, you might have to waitlist (though this hasn't happened much in the "great recession.")

You can add on as few as 25 points at any resort if you pay cash, or if you are financing, then the minimum is 50. These add ons will have the same UY and will appear in your Vacation Points listing as XXX.1, xxx.2 and so on. I'm a math teacher and it's a bit disconcerning to me when I see my resorts listed. They have a xxx.1 as well as an xxx.10!
