A little concerend ! - just tried to look up a deal to POFQ again with Thomson as I priced this up a while ago. It now appears that we cannot book either of the port orleans resorts during October 2014. Anyone else have any problems or know of any reason why ?

Yeah they sell out pretty quick while the promotion is on with free dinning. They might release more rooms once the promotion is over. All I could get if I wanted were the royal rooms at POR.

I can't think why that would be the case. It certainly won't be booked up this far in advance!

Maybe they haven't released the extra rooms yet? Or did you do what I did and search the wrong year?

Each travel agency only get so many rooms to book with the free dining promotion and the PO resorts are very popular so I guess they have booked all of their allocation.

Have you tried direct with Disney UK?

I just did a mock booking for POR on WDW web site for two weeks in October 2014 and it is coming up there. You just need to add flights when they are released. What I did find though was that you can get OKW much cheaper and with the upgraded dining plan.

Not sure about October but for next June/July POFQ is only showing King beds. This is on the Disney website. If you are more than 2 people that would explain why it's not bringing anything up. It only takes one of the days in your selected date range not to have appropriate availability and it will come up as nothing available with your whole trip. King bed rooms only sleep 2

I know they sometimes discount OKW (and SS) to the same sort of pricing as POR/POFQ but to get it mcuh cheaper and with the standard DP (rather than QS) would be an amazing deal.

Have you tried booking with compleat Orlando or charter travel they might have rooms and are usually cheaper than Thompson or Thomas cook.

I just put in 5th to 19th October 2014 and POR came up £2464 with QSDP and OKW came up £2212 with DDP! You do have to add park tickets onto this price and of course flights. Less 3.5% cash back if you book through Quidco today!!!!!!!!
