POFQ: Will it ever be the same?

if i were planning a trip now i would definitly try to book POFQ. not just because we have always wanted to stay there but also because i feel in a that i would be paying respect and sending some pixie dust to new orleans way by staying there.

New Orleans will be back. this country when faced with aversity has always responded well and responded quickly. i was able to see the devastation at the WTC in nyc first hand because my brother was a captain with the NYFD and we were able to go onsite. i was totally shocked by the devastation i saw and wondered if this area will ever come back. well in a relatiivly short time it came back and while it may never be totally the same it in many ways it will be better, just like i am sure New Orleans will be.

We have ressies for next August. We love this place. I always thought this would be the closest that I would ever get to New Orleans. Now I know that it isn't...when the city is back...I am going...they need all our prayers right now but when they are on their feet, they are going to need the tourists to come back....Just like NYC did. We went down just as soon as we could to show our support. Go and Remember what New Orleans was and will be agian!!

One poster brought up a good point. Does anyone think that Disney may attempt to "refurbish" FQ to change the theming? I personally would hate to see that happen, but at this point one would think it's probably at least being discussed in corporate meetings.
