I need help choosing between these two resorts. We will be traveling in early Feb and it will be myself and my boyfriend who are both in our 30's. If we stay at CSR we will be in their CL. Any opinions on people who have stayed at both? TIA!

We have stayed at both and loved both for different reasons. POFQ is small and quaint! We like the boat ride to DTD. CSR-we love because of the pool and love the atmosphere. We are heading back to CSR next week because it's my 17 year olds favorite resort.

I've stayed at both resorts, they are both great choices. CSR does not have a club level, it's called business class. Business class at CSR has limited food/beverages/shacks, and an abbreviated schedule. Although they do serve beer, wine, sangria in the evening. I think they open from 7:00-10:00 a.m., then they close and re-open from 5:00-10:00 p.m. (closed all day). I scheduled it strictly for the room location, and not for the food/beverage amenities. Depending on how much additional it adds to your room per night, it may or may not be worth it to you.

We have stayed at both.

Previously, we were big fans of Coronado Springs. We stayed there for our first and second Christmas trip and recommended it for our family friend's wedding.

Coronado Springs is big - especially compared to POFQ. If you are in one of the back buildings, you could be at least a 10 minute walk from the lobby/restaurants.

The scenery at Coronado Springs is amazing. The resort wraps around a lake, with bridges connecting each side. I used to love the bridges at night - they were decorated with white lights which added to the Christmas feeling.

I also liked that CS had a gym. CS was a lot like a deluxe resort at a moderate price.

After a few years, CS got a little "old" for us. After walking in the parks all day, walking back and forth to the rooms was a bit tedious. Also, the quality started to lack a little IMO. The maid service was not as good and the QS restaurant there changed. Maybe we were nitpicking and becoming bored after staying there so many years - that could definitely be it.

After three straight years, we changed to POFQ. Personally, I LOVE POFQ. No matter where your room is, you're less than 5 minutes from the lobby and restaurant. POFQ lacks the amenities that CS has, but it's a really cool, well-themed resort.

Personally, I love the fact that you could jump on a boat and head to DTD. I also love that there's only one bus stop. CS has multiple bus stops. If you're the last stop, many times the buses will be packed by the time it gets to you. This could lead to prolonged wait times to get to the park. At POFQ, we have always gotten on the first bus. Also, when it's late at night after hours at the park, it was nice to know that we only had one stop and a short walk to our room. That was reassuring to our tired legs.

Overall, I'd recommend POFQ if getting to the parks and ease of getting around is important to you. If you're more into amenities and walking long distances doesn't matter to you, then go with CS.

We've stayed at both, and I would choose POFQ over CSR every time. As a PP mentioned, it's small and quaint, and it has a very nice atmosphere. We also enjoy the boat to DTD. It's not that we think anything is horribly wrong with CSR (the grounds are beautiful), but our preference is definitely POFQ.

POFQ has a busier and family oriented vibe. CSR is more laid back with an adult vibe. I like the food court at POFQ better than Pepper Market at CSR. As mentioned, the boat to DTD is a plus and POFQ is much smaller than CSR. CSR has the gym, POFQ does not.

I like the size of POFQ and the boat to DTD. Thought the bus service was way better at CSR. We choose CSR for the last trip because at that time they were the only Mod resort with Queen beds now POFQ has them too.

CSR had the best bus service out of all the resorts we've ever stayed at. Love it. Very nice resort. BUT, im a sucker for that lovely boat ride to DTD from POFQ. Its wonderful! For that reason, i'd lean more towards POFQ. :thumbsup2 (although i do like POR much better).

Stayed at both. CSR is normally our go to resort because we can always get a discount there & never had a bad stay but whenever POFQ is included in discounts, I would easily choose POFQ.
Nothing is wrong with CSR but POFQ is smaller and makes utilizing the QS restaurant and getting on the bus so much easier.
CSR definitely feels more Adult but POFQ is my favorite.
