Hey guys,
So my family is planning our trip to WDW for Christmas this year. We went for xmas 09 and 10, but skipped last year due to me starting a new job. We went for a wedding this past April and stayed in Coronado. Coronado has been our hotel of choice the past few WDW trips, but we have noticed that the quality of stay has gone down a bit. Maid services seem to be slacking, and we're ready for an overall change of scenery. My sister and mom seem to have their heart set on the Port Orleans or Boardwalk. Port Orleans seems like the favorite right now. The Riverside does not seem to have queen size beds, however, so we are opting for the French Quarters. I was wondering if anyone can recommend the POFQ, and give me some differences between Coronado and the POFQ. Some things I was wondering was:
- How different are the rooms? (Bigger, smaller?)
- Bus stop proximity to rooms?
- At Coronado some of the stops seem further from rooms.
- Lobby/Eatery from room
- For some rooms and areas are Coronado, it feels like you need to walk
about a mile just to get breakfast
- Food quality
- Never a complaint about the food at Coronado- only the lines at the
quick mart (no organization)
- Anything else that makes POFQ stand out?
Thanks!
