I'm about to call. All I care about is that I don't want a parking lot view. Should i just ask for garden or courtyard view and if so will it cost more thru CRO? All i saw on mousesavers and AllEars was a rate for standard, water and king rooms. Anyone know?

If I request building 5 will it cost more?

Thanks!

Hi Shan!

I just booked FQ for this coming Mon. night 6/28 (my 10yr old cousin is competing in Gymnastics at one of the DTD hotels so going just overnight). I booked Standard view and requested bldng.5 also.

I stayed at FQ over mothers day wknd and had just a standard view room and actually had a courtyard view so I think you can get the closer bldngs you just wouldn't get the side of the bldng. with the pool or facing the river.

If you book waterview it will cost a little more but you definetly wouldn't get a parking lot view but with standard view you can also get courtyard view;)

Good luck! I'll let ya know where I ended up when I get back.:wave2:

A standard room could include a parking lot view or a courtyard/garden view. You could request a courtyard/garden view but they can't guarantee it.

Thanks guys! I've been looking at the map. If I request building 5 on the opposite side of the pool, think it will still be noisy? We just had a LOUD experience at Pop Century.

Scoootch, have a nice time!

Thanks Shan;)

Hopefully it won't be noisy:eek: I specifically didn't book one of the value resorts because I'm afraid of the very same thing - I'm always afraid it would be way too noisy:rolleyes: So far I've been lucky in that dept. (knock wood). Although I did consider it for about a minute and a half since I'm not really getting to spend more than Monday for anything Disney. I'd rather spend the extra $20 and stay where I know I'll be happy - I'm such a creature of habit:yo-yo:

Anyhow, hopefully you'll be fine. ;) When are you going?

Oh, this isn't until spring break next year. Ya know, since we joined DVC I'm always planning something.

Actually, we might have a change of plans. I showed DD 6 the POFQ slide today and she immediately pouted that it was too short, a baby slide. I was thinking it looked great for our younger one. What a dilemma to have! LOL
We won't go back to values again. My 6 year old is OBSESSED with swimming right now and slides top her list.
