POFQ stay . . .

We just returned from our stay at POFQ on 10/04/2005. It was everything I had hoped for. We stayed in Bldg 4, room 4111 (first floor corner). Talk about quiet,... it was very relaxing. Lots of charm.

One morning we decided to have breakfast at the foodcourt. Well, after waiting 20 minutes for our pager to light, we noticed folks that ordered after us were getting their food. So, we inquired about it. Turns out our order slip had fallen on the floor and hence the chef never started our order. Five minutes later our breakfast was ready. The chef came out and was very apologetic. No problem,... as these things happen. Well, half way into eating our omlettes, a CM came by and said the chef wanted to refund our money as a goodwill gesture and for the inconvenience. He again came out and apologized. That's the Disney service I have come to admire all these years.

They give you a pager for breakfast at the food court? I guess I am just thinking fast food. What did you wait for, while the chef cooked? You order , and they cook it as it is ordered?

we didn't rate the transport at POFQ when we stayed 9/18 through 10/4. We were just glad we had a car for the second week. After park closing there were massive lines for the POFQ buses and one night i think we got on about the 9th/10th bus that came and then we were standing with two asleep toddlers and 2 strollers. Not fun. By the time we had got on a bus, all the other stands had completely cleared of guests.

The buses do pick up at FQ first, then do Riverside, the only exception is DTD where riverside is first.

Yes there are.

We ordered omlettes,... just the way we like them! Not something that can be pre-made and still be hot and fresh by sitting under heat lamps. They do the same thing for pizza's as well. I guess the pagers keep the crowds out of the food ordering area and actually gives us the opportunity to find a table.
