POFQ - room suggestions??

Stayed at POFQ in 1997 but can't really remember what building. Does anyone have suggestions on potential rooms / buildings to request. We have two small children (2, 5). From what I remember, the resort is small enough that it is not too far from any room to the main building or bus stop. Thanks.

On our last trip to POFQ, we stayed in building 2 (with a water view room -- view of the pool). Great location -- near the pool, water launch to Downtown Disney, near the foodcourt/bus stops. Keep in mind, that it is a small resort, so just about any building will be convenient.

We usually ask for Bldg. 5, ground floor, poolside. With kids it's great. You are near the pool and the playground. It's also close to the boat launch to DTD.

We went two years ago to POFQ with DD age 3 and DD age 6. We stayed in building #5. It was a great location to everything. Not much walking at all. It also has a path behind building five that leads to the bus stops. Everything is close to building five: bus stop, food court, pool, laundry, playground....There was not much noise even though you were so convenient to everything! Have a blast on your trip!

Hi - I requested Bldg. 5 for my upcoming April trip and I was wondering if all the rooms in that bldg. have a water view? I was under the impression I reserved a standard view. I stayed at CSR 2 years ago and stayed in the Cabana's 8b which wasn't a waterview, but definitely didn't overlook a parking lot. I really don't want to look at a parking lot from my room not even for a second Should I request at least a garden view???
