POFQ Room/Building Request

At POFQ... is one building better than another? Trying to see if a certain building is closer to the bus stops, pool and other activities that would be better suited for my family? I've requested the standard room, so I won't be seeing the river from my room.

we had requested building 5 due to its nearness to the pool/food court/lobby/bus stop but when we checked in we were given a room in bldg 6... it was GREAT! i know people are constantly saying "it's a small compact resort, any building is a great location" but i was skeptical... well, i was pleasantly surprised... it is a small compact resort and all locations seemed to be great... bldg 6 was only a very very short walk to the food court/bus stop/pool areas... no matter where you are, you are certain to enjoy it!

Thank you so much for your reply. I am worried, just as you are when people say that this is a small resort. My mind is put at ease as we arrive at WDW in 3 days!

We were just there in late August and got put in Building 7 at the back. This is where the Disney buses wait to start their runs in the morning!!!!! The parking lot was full of Disney buses. It was quite a sight! I just went to the front desk and they moved us to Building 5 which was right by the food court and pool. It was great. Even the CM at the desk wondered why they put us in Building 7. You will love the resort, we sure did. The pool is great. Have fun!
