Never been to POFQ but last minute vacation, booked cash, used up all my DVC points but it was a good deal. What can I expect? Any room requests that I should think about? What can I expect or avoid food wise? How is transportation from here? Thanks in advance!!

Hope you love it like we do! It's such a small resort nothing is too far away whichever block you're in and we had our own transport but intend using transportation this time in addition. The boat to Disney Springs is so good too. Beignets are a must and although there's no TS restaurant you can use POR if you want to. Enjoy!

Like any WDW resort people can have great to bad bus expriences. Overall in our 10 visits over 18 years the buses have gotten better. We get riverview because we like that area but you aren't to far from anything .The Bartenders at the POFQ pool bar are wonderful .The boat to DS is great, we try to leave for DS by 6:00 in the evening to avoid the crowd. We like going up to POR to hang in the lounge or their pool bar

We love POFQ! Have stayed in river view rooms every time, only because it seems to be a bit more quiet. The resort is small, so everything is close. The beignets are a must have!! Never had a problem with the buses. The boat ride to DS is lovely! Enjoy!

You lucky people so many visits! I think it's a place that a lot of people fall in love with because it is smaller and so friendly!

I love POFQ but would not spend money on a view. If you want a location, just request the bldg, but since there are no balconies, river view is wasted, IMO.

What view category did you book? If you booked Garden or standard view we like bldg 4, close to food court, shop and bus.

POFQ is a great resort if you want a nice place to stay on a budget. It's kinda in the middle of all parks, boats to Disney Springs, small and quiet (not a lot of kids running around) very comfortable rooms, good food, just a nice place in the $200's. My wife and I love for a quick getaway.

POFQ is my favorite resort at WDW. I wouldn't pay extra for river view. They don't have balconies, so not worth it to me to have view of river. It's a compact resort which I love, with a very quaint feel which I also love.

I hope you thoroughly enjoy it. :)

Believe it or not... just river view available... I just booked last week!!!
