OK, so I've been trying to plan our resort room window. We're staying at POFQ, and I was just curious what the windows were like there. Are they one big window pane, or is it broken up into smaller window panes? (I don't know if that makes sense).

OMG! Thank you so much! That's exactly what I was looking for! I was searching and searching for a pic of the windows & couldn't find anything.

THANK YOU!!!

Incidentally, I noticed you're in Greensboro. I work in Greensboro! And, I used to live in Boston. How cool!

You're welcome!! The photo is from a travel agency web site - I save everything! LOL

Greensboro and Boston!! Small world!! PM or email me!

While I cannot speak for the OP...:)

Many guests enjoy decorating their windows during a holiday visit.

Some just enjoy decorating the windows at any time.

Some DIS members like to display something in the window to let other guests know they are a DIS member...

It is fun to see how guests decorate resort windows! Always gives us a smile. :)

You mean I'm not alone in that idea. So I'm not crazy. :rotfl:

To me it just adds to the magic if I decorate my window any time I go. It also aids in finding your room late at night. I already have a wreath made for my door. (I got a puzzle from the dollar store and glued the pieces to a paper plate. Then attached LGMH to it with my user on it. The backside has magnets on it. Oh, I didn't steal the Mickey head paint chips from HD, I bought a large punch for it.) I also plan to take some window clings I got last year from the dollar store. Since I'm going around Christmas time I'll also have a little tree too. I'm trying to talk myself out of making some poinsetta garland with lights to put in the window too. Buzz would love it because we'll be staying at CSR and the plan is to have it look similar to the garlands they have up.

::yes:: I'm decorating our window. I was making window clings and wanted to see how small/big to make them. I also wanted to do a poster, but I want to make sure it will be able to be read. The big one-window-pane windows are way easier, but I can make do! ;)

Sounds wonderful!!

Last yr we had our Polynesian room decorated - a few things on the dresser, candy, tiny Manger, a couple of holiday pillows on the day bed...and we made a tree in the window with the lights. Understated, but festive...the housekeepers loved it! :santa:

Each morning wewouldleave a tiny wrapped gift on top of the decorated tip envelope (candy, stickers etc).It really was fun. :)

On our departure morning we always leave a tip envelope because it is the day they have the most work to do(for our room) and our last thank you.

No flames about our tipping, please!;) Just our personal preference ::yes::

We always tip as well, but I do that at every hotel anyway. This year at Disney, though, we're really getting into it with the decorated tip envelopes and the window decorating! It should be a lot of fun. I think I'm kind of going overboard with all the planning for this trip! :rotfl: And it's still more than 3 months away! :yay:

I always decorate our windows too...adds a little something...and we know which room is ours - should we decide to drop the kids at nana & poppy's room for the night and hit downtown disney for a drink or two, three four....:woohoo:
