POFQ questions

I just reserved 3/1-3/7 for 148.00 before tax (AAA rate). I think this is pretty decent. Back in the late 90's I stayed at Riverside and I love the mansions and quiet pools but this time I'm going with my boyfriend and had read that the FQ is more romantic and cozy. I just don't like the dragon slide in the pool ! Can anyone reassure me that I made a good choice or should I go and change it to POR? Also, what is the hot tub situation like at each of the pools, is the FQ hot tub less crowded b/c it is the smaller resort? Which of these two sections is more heavily "kid populated?" We like kids but I'm a school teacher and need a little quiet Thanks!!

I have never stayed at POR but just returned from POFQ and loved it. The hot tub is off in a courtyard outside of the pool area - pretty secluded. When we stayed at CBR the hot tub was right next to the pool slide. The pool was never that crowded. I thought the resort was very quiet and peaceful. I wish we had more time to walk around all of the cute vine covered courtyards. Enjoy your stay whatever you decide.

stayed there last September during Frances. Loved it. at night is looks like new orleasn streets. it is small and you can walk along the river. You will enjoy it , one of my favorite resorts. vacation club owners now but will stay here again.
