POFQ Pool View vs River View?

I am currently booked Pool View for Spring 2018 trip. Did I make a right decision?? I choose this view as it will be on building 2 or 5 which is close to the main entrance, pool, and food court. But not sure if it will be loud all day as it close to the pool area. Should I switch to river view?

I'd go with the cheaper option. All rooms are close to everything there.

We've had pool view in 5 - to be honest nowhere is far at POFQ - we did have some noise from the pool one evening when we were trying to sleep - so if you wanted a nap in the day you might find it a little noisy.

Garden view and request close to main building.

But as others have said, the resort is small and nowhere is too far.

I've stayed ground floor facing the pool (these are Garden View) and had no issues with noise, but I tend to be gone most of the day.

I prefer the River View - just seemed more peaceful.

Agree with others...it's a super small (and beautiful) resort. We've stayed in building 7 a few times with our small kids and it was perfect even though it's the furthest away. It's like a 5 minute walk to the lobby/bus area/pool.

Done both and really has no issue with noise at the pool . That was back when the pool didn't close. The only issue would be if someone needed a afternoon nap it could be a little loud . If we aren't in the park we are the pool in the afternoon so it wasn't an issue. We been in every building except for #4 and as other have said nothing is far. We just prefer River but it has nothing to do with pool noise.

Thank you for all inputs. I selected pool view as I know my son will use the pool a lot and it will be better to stay close. If it only loud during the day, we should be fine.

POFQ you dont have a view from your room. Its just the common walkway area and walking to your room. Most convienent building IMHO is building 4 (which would be a garden view/standard view).

Pool view room will be much closer to bus stop so yes you made a good choice.

I never upgrade "views" at moderates. It's not like there's a balcony to sit on and enjoy the "view". We had a garden view at POFQ and were in building 4, close to everything. But honestly, POFQ is so small that nothing is far away.
