Hi,

We have just booked for December next year, yippee!!!! Stopped at POFQ this May and the weather was very hot!! In December, is it warm enough to swim in the pool? Are the life gaurds on?If yes until what time? Is the pool heated? My daughter loves the dragon slide, she can't wait to get back to have another go.
Cheers

The pool is heated and it was very warm. I believe the lifeguards are there all year round. We swam last December at our villa's pool and it was quite pleasant (not every day but certainly some days were warm enough)

It depends on the day you are there. We were at POFQ this past weekend and my DS swam in the pool and said the water was warm. It was cool out so using the locker room worked out great.

BTW - Whatever you do ask for a close building. We were in Bld7 and ended up and drove our rental over to a closer parking area to use the pool. That building is a long way from the pool especially when you are wet and it is cool.

December temps can vary. Pack for all types of weather.
This past week was quite cool on Friday night and all day Saturday.
I wore a fairly heavy fall jacket and jeans.
Sunday and Monday were downright hot. I wore shorts.
I recall in some years wearing gloves as I viewed Illuminations.
But Disney in December is wonderful!

We were at POFQ in November and it was chilly in the evenings. The pool was not all that warm, but the hot tub sure was nice!!!!

Kids do not care if the pool is warm.............
