Help us decide

Does anybody have any opinons on either of these resorts?

Thanks

I think they both look lovely! We have gone for POFQ as its a lot smaller - with only one bus stop and you get picked up and dropped off before POR :)

I prefer the decor at POFQ - but I love the look of the mansions at POR.

You can use the facilities at both hotels - pool etc so I think its just down to preference :)

Hello, we have actually stayed at both and while I enjoyed both resorts, I would say I preferred POFQ. It is more compact and so less walking. The food court is great and we walked to Riverside when we wanted to use the sit down restaurant. Also the jazz bar is nice in the evening. The boats to and from DTD are great.

hi my vote is for POR. I know its a big resort but its really nice, the food courts great and my kids loved the pool. I enjoyed it so much that iam going back in July.

We've gone for FQ because everything looks so good, the food court is close to all of the buildings and the buses stop there first so you should hopefully be able to get a seat ;) The smaller of the two resorts but still has the amenities we are looking for compact site but good room sizes lovely buildings easy on the eyes and the boats pick up and drop off there too if you don't fancy a bus to DTD. I hear it's a lovely walk over to Riverside where they have another food court and swimming pool and Boatwrights restaurant (we'll not be going in there) if you fancy a change of scenery. There's a great little site you should look at its at www.portorleans.org there are some great resort photos to help you find out more and back histories etc. and once again "Thankyou Andre" for the unofficial site full of info about the two resorts :thumbsup2

We stayed ay FQ last year and loved it. Would go back again in a second . . . that said we are trying Riverside in May to see it "from the other side"!! I don't think you would be disappointed with either - they are both beautiful. FQ is compact though which is worth a lot after a long day at the parks!

I can only talk about FQ as that's where we stayed, but we LOVED it. The compact size was perfect for us with a 2 year old. I loved the pool area and Scat Cats at night. Both resorts look great but I'd stay at FQ again without any hesitation. Any specific questions just ask!
