POFQ King Bed

We made our reservations through a travel agent and requested a King bed. However, the voucher indicates that we need to request an upgrade upon check in.

Should I call ahead of time to make this request and how much more should I expect to pay?

A king bed is the same rate as a waterview which is about $15 more than a standard room. But to "request to be upgraded" to a king room upon check-in doesn't sound right to me. When are you going and what rate did they quote you? ~~

We are going May 19, but we had a package price for everything and now have a voucher for the hotel.
