POFQ-I'm a believer!

I just back from a week at POFQ! I'd stayed at POR/DL only before, but I am now a POFQ believer! Food court was smaller than POR's, but adequate. Being able to walk anywhere quickly, plus it was great just having 1 bus stop. Our room was great (2319). Mousekeeping cleaned well, I got more hangers when I asked. We actually could see part of Wishes from straight out our window. Our building was an ex-smoking building, but I didn't smell anything.

So glad to hear. In October, 4 of us (all women) will be heading to Disney. We are still in the planning stages so I'm not sure whether we'll end up in a Moderate or Value Resort. But final choices I suspect will be left to me (I'm the "veteran"). I LOVE POR Riverside, but am leaning to POFQ for a Moderate for it's smaller size. It may be a tough sell though as pictures in WDW/AAA brochures aren't overly flattering!

We've stayed at bot of the Port Orleans & the kids are still in awe of the French Quarter. Just the right size if it's hot & your tired of walking. We might make our first repeat stay there.

We stayed at POFQ in October and we loved it. We were in building 7, the farthest building, and it still wasn't a bad walk.

The boat to DTD, the pool, the food court, all great!

We just stayed there for the second time last month and we agree that it is a fantastic resort. I think of all the resorts it is our favorite. We have never had any kind of problem there and the CM's have always been great.

I am so happy to hear that! We are going in June, and staying at the POFQ. I chose it for the same reasons you liked it.

FQ is by far our Fav Mod. LOve the boat to DTD the easy walk to POR and can't beat the Bus.

And for it being a Compact resort it's setup is so nice iy never seems crowded
