Is the menu at POFQ really as limited as it seems? Not many choices for the kids?

Does anyone know if the menu at POFQ is very limited? DO they have mac and cheese or cheese pizza for the kids?

Sorry, I can't remember whether they had mac 'n cheese; there was pizza. I think DD ate chicken strips and burgers. I do know, though, that the menu was very limited all around (for kids and adults) as compared to Pop Century.

If you've never had Beignets they are a must try while at POFQ... They were better when Bonfamille's Cafe was still open... but they are still very good... no way kids won't like them... :)

We stayed at POR for a week in August. And we went to the FQ numerous times to eat and swim. My children are very fussy and found plenty to eat. We all enjoyed it.
The selections are a bit more limited that say the larger food courts at the value resorts, but we found the staff knowledgeable, friendly and very willing to accommodate special orders. Most of the food does take a few minutes to get as it is made to order. Any day, I'd wait a few minutes for a hot sandwich and fresh fries, than get food that has been sitting under a heat lamp.
Fussiest daughter proclaimed that they had the best cheeseburgers she has ever consumed. They were good and juicy.
I liked the marinated, grilled chicken sandwich. They added cheese on request. And will put mushrooms on the Phillie cheesesteak. They also have good taco salads, where you add what you want.
I think they have plain kids pasta, too, but I'm not for sure.

We love the kids grilled cheese. My 74 year old Mom says its the best!

There was plenty on the menu. My kids are not picky eaters (and neither are we) so it was just fine. There's a huge selection for breakfast, lunch and dinner as well.

We stayed at this resort for the first time in September and loved it well we loved all of it BUT the food court which we thought stunk!!! We had only stayed value before and were used to their food courts and the big selection and the food court at POFQ was a big big letdown. Not much selection at all. We would most days walk over to Riverside and eat because it had a great selection! On a positive note we loved loved the beignets and ate them every morning and my DD's refuse to stay anywhere else now because of it!:)

Beignets, enough said.

For dawgsgirl (and other UGA grads)....I'll repeat it slowly.... B E I G N E T S: e n o u g h s a i d! :rotfl:

Go GameCocks! (At least we beat UGA!)

The selection is small compared to some other food courts.
