Get the ribs! Especially if you are on the
DDP. They are very good, an absolutely huge portion. You could honestly split it with 2 people to save $$ or meal credits. The chicken parmagian meal is a pretty good value too. There is a pretty decent variety - a pasta/pizza station, a ribs/chicken/jambalya station, a hamburger / hot sandwhich station, and a deli sandwhich station, as well as desert. Pretty wide variety of breakfast foods as well, though we don't typically eat big breakfasts at WDW. Not sure why all the hoot about the beignets, they are OK, really just fried dough with a TON of powdered sugar. We usually get them once per trip, but not my favorite.
Kids meals range from pizza to spaghetti and meatballs to hamburger to mac and cheese and something else I can't think of right now.
No one mentioned the seating...there's not a ton of seating, but I can't say we've ever had a problem getting a table. (Though we don't usually go down for breakfast and I've seen it pretty crowded at 8-9AM.) There's a coloring table with chalk board and legos, as well as a TV tuned to the Disney Channel (of course) for the kids. I wish these were a little more line of sight so that you could be getting your food while your child colored, but nothing's perfect. The theme is "Mardi Gras float warehouse".
You can definitely do take-out, they'll give you lids for your plates.
We've done POFQ three trips in a row, and I would be perfectly happy going there every trip, but next trip we will be on a tighter budget and will be going with a value resort. I am interested to try one, though to see the difference myself.
