POR CS - Riverside Mill seems to have more food options

POFQ CS - Sassagoula Floatworks and Food Factory is more limited

If you stay at POFQ - can you get a plain cheese pizza ?
Per the menu is says only pepperoni pizza at the POFQ CS.
POR CS has plain cheese pizza.

Also

If you stay at POFQ, because of it's small size and first bus stop - would you
walk (or boat) to POR to have dinner or lunch at the POR CS ?

Thanks for any help

the walk to POR is not that bad. I think it took me about 15 minutes with my girls last fall. I also walked back to POFQ several times just to get beignets LOL It's a nice walk. You can always hop on a bus heading to POR to pick up people going to the parks if you don't feel like walking however make sure to ask if they are going to POR right away.

I was also wondering if cheese pizza was available at POFQ. My DS hates pepperoni. I don't mind walking to POR once in awhile but pizza is his favorite food. Will I really have to go to POR everytime we want cheese pizza?

I like the food at French Quarter better usually.

You can get delivery to your room (2 TS credits if using meal plan) of a cheese.

We always say though, friends don't let friends order Disney pizza. It's terrible now that they make it with an automated machine.

Options for good pizza:
Wolfgang puck express at DTD marketplace or Westside (QS credit). You can take the boat there from PO to DTD.

EPCOT Italy walk up window has big square fluffy crust plain cheese pizza 4.50 for a big slice.

Hess stations have AMAZING pizza. Best location is the Hess at the exit of Magic Kingdom. It even has tables to sit at to eat. Large Pizza is about $8. You need a car to get to this location.
Also have the pizza at the Hess across from DTD.
The Hess next to the Boardwalk does not have pizza.

Or you can order from like Dominos and have it delivered.

Sounds Yummy :goodvibes

we have stayed at POR and POFQ and both food courts had plus points and minus points.

We like the pasta and carving station at POR and we liked the Tacos salad at POFQ. The fact that you can walk/bus or boat to either resort is great because you have the option of eating at either place.

The Pizza at WGPE in the market place was really good and fresh also they do an amazing breakfast version which is awesome. DH raves about it.
And we were able to get cheese pizza no problem at either place. We never ate at boatwrights too many other places to eat that we never had the time.

Thanks. I love WGPE too. We've been to Disney 20+ times so I do know where to find the "good stuff".:) I just really wondered if we'd be able to get a cheese pizza now and then at POFQ. We usually stay at POLY or CSR when we do a MOD so this will be a new expeience. We got free QSDP and CSR wasn't available with my PIN so I had to try something new.

Either of the resorts are really nice but we would choose to go to POFQ again we just liked the smaller size of the resort.

You really can't go wrong though with either resort.

I stayed at both my last trip, and by far I preferred POR. They have many more selections, including rotisserie chicken/mashed potatoes, and a great make-your-own pasta bar.

I find the choices at POFQ more limited. Okay, but not nearly as many things to select from. But their Beignets can't be beat!
