POFQ buildings...

Are certain buildings all non-smoking or smoking or are they split up? I know all the buildings are in pretty good locations, so I'm trying to decide if there is any reason to request a certain building. Anyone know which buildings are which? Thanks!

ChiTownZee, I am currently looking at requesting Building 5 for my next trip. I have never been to POFQ, but from what I hear, this buiding is right in the middle of everything. It seems to be very close to the bus stop, food court, pool, and river. This seems to be true from the map of the resort I saw. Of course, everything seems close together since its a small resort.

They have non smoking buildings (5) and smoking ones (2). I think they also have some that are smoking/nonsmoking by floor. Not sure about those. We like building 5 and it is non smoking. There are others out there who know the specifics and i'm sure will respond with more detail.

We usually prefer non-smoking rooms, but, we like bldg 4 at POFQ since it is the closest to the bus stops, food ct, gift shop and front desk. We have never had a problem with the rooms smelling smoky. Which is a good thing, because I would hate to have to give up bldg 4.

We liked building 5 when we stayed there. But, honestly nothing is a big walk. I requested non-smoking, garden view, close to foodcourt and wound up there. It was a great location.

Is all of building 4 smoking?


So 2 and 4 are all smoking buildings, is this right? And then the rest would be non-smoking?

I had read in the Passporter that 2 and 5 are smoking... has this changed? Not that is matters, as long as the entire building is nonsmoking, I am not particular about which building. The resort is so compact that any building is convenient!

We are staying here in November for the second time. I love this resort. I just wish they would bring back a sit down restaurant! We liked Bldg. 5. According to wdwig.com:

"Buildings 2, 4 and the top 2 floors of 6 are designated Smoking rooms."

We stayed in a nonsmoking room in Bldg. 4. Then they said that the third floor of this building was nonsmoking. I know bldg. 5 is nonsmoking as well as parts of bldg. 6. This may have changed since they reopened. You might want to call the resort directly to find out for sure.
