POFQ and May/June advice

Just booked POFQ for May 31 - June 4. I realize Sunday and Monday will be crowded because of Memorial Day...any advice on how to plan?

Also, I've been reading that everyone is thrilled about POFQ but wondering since no one has seen anything of the rennovation if there are any concerns that not ALL rooms were rennovated? Also, is a preferred view really worth the extra money???

I booked at French Quarter for mid-May, I was told by reservationist that all the rooms had been renovated (for what that's worth).

POFQ is a beautiful resort! I guess to answer your question about upgrading the view is................how much time do you plan to spend looking out the window daily?

I never pay for an upgraded view (have been given it for free, however). I don't keep my curtains open. Each resort is so beautiful that even with a standard room, you are surrounded by lush vegetation and themeing.

It's just up to you!
