POFQ and 8:00 ADR at Tusker House breakfast

We are staying at POFQ and have an 8:00 a.m. ADR at Tusker House Character Breakfast. The CM who booked this reservation said that since AK doesn't open until 9:00, the earliest bus to AK will start at 8:00. I thought I remember reading about character buses. Anyone else ever have this dilemna?

There are no character buses per se, but there are buses that go to the parks early for the breakfasts and the tours.
I would be at the bus stop at the POFQ around 7:15 at the very latest to get the bus to the AK and then get to the Tusker house in time for your breakfast

If that's the first bus then take it and do NOT be late! There was a (VERY ANNOYING) family behind us at AK just prior to opening. We were off to the side, right up at a rope (They let you in the park and hold you at the ropes in the am) and they were up against us, arguing with the CM that they had 8:30 ADR's and couldn't get in to the park. The CM nicely explained to them that no one is allowed in the park at this time until the park opens up at 9. They were quite angry and asking why they were allowed an ADR for 8:30 if they wouldn't be allowed in the park until 9. WELL, MAYBE because it was 8:55 when they tried!! Nothing like being obnoxious and making other people feel bad for you when it's YOUR fault! They even SAID they just got here and need to get in for their ADR.The CM's wouldn't let anyone in at that time but I do know that plenty of people got there for their ADR's because we passed right by Tusker House after rope drop and there were a ton of people there eating and taking pics. So, I'm assuming, and I may be wrong, that they won't let anyone in several minutes prior to park opening, even if they have ADR's. I would check with POFQ and see what time their buses get there, I'm pretty sure they pick you up before 8 but may be mistaken. Good luck!

If you have an ADR you will be allowed in the park prior to the rope drop. When you get to the AK ask a CM where you need to go or there may even be a sign telling you which turnstile to enter by.
Even though the parks open at 9:00 the buses start running earlier for the breakfasts that are in the parks.
