Do you see the problem? The ostrich is black. And those are HER eggs. Girl ostriches are BROWN. Except for this transvestite bird. She has a lot of testoterone. And SHE decided to be a HE. And her feathers changed...from brown, to black!

Pretty amazing for an animal with a brain the size of a pea!

We decided not to do next year's members cruise. We have other trips with our kids' school that we are doing. In March the girls are going to Disney with the school and will be Marching down Main Street USA with our Marching Band and I think they said that the Show Choir will be performing on the stage at DTD - and both girls are in that. So we are going down cuz I'm not gonna miss my girls performing at Disney!

And then two weeks later my oldest DD and I are going on her Senior trip to Philadelphia/DC/NYC. Yay a bus the whole way!

And then, while we were on this year's Members Cruise DH booked a Christmas Cruise for next year. So excited for that.

And we would still like to squeeze in F&W Fest and MNSSHP next year too!

I am really hoping for another update soon. Preferably one before I leave work because I can actually see pictures today.

Any now LJ is NOT coming to my house so I might never know why your TR's close my mac. Bummer!

WOW!! Thanks, Mckyran!! That looks amazing- I saw someone posted no picture taking- I can't imagine that's true, they are soooo encouraging of the photo taking on the current safaris we've experienced.

Well, everyone- I promise I am not ignoring you- I have just had a very busy week PTA wise- a lot of meetings and commitments, but I truly am enjoying it. Then tomorrow we are headed to my cousin's wedding in PA- so a very busy weekend.

Sounds like a great trip you have planned! And I am glad to hear that there will be a report for the cruise as well! I am thinking about a cruise myself and would love to read about your experiences!

The Disney cruise is my FAVORITE vacation- I can't WAIT to get on that ship again!! I wrote about the last one we took- the link is in my sig. We'll be there in less than 2 weeks!!

I have "blown" out chicken eggs (poke a little hole in each in and BLOW like crazy). I wonder if they do the ostrich eggs the same way. If so, I would hate to be the person whose job it was to blow/suck out the ostrich eggs.

Wow, 10 whole nights at WDW! There's no way that I could get my DH to stay there for that long, actually he would stay no place that long.

I'm almost there with staying in Florida for a few months each winter. Then I can visit Disney a lot more. I swear I'm going to start going alone!

Well, 2 nights at WDW, 7 on the ship, and 1 at Vero Beach. DH makes a fuss about the length at some point in the planning usually, but he gets over it- he knows he's no match for me on a Disney vacation planning roll!

WOW!! Talk about MEGA trips!! Our HS band goes to WDW every 4 years- what a great experience!! And I am sooo envious of your Christmas cruise- I hear the ship is GORGEOUS at Christmas!!

Thanks! The wedding was lovely- she (Holly, the bride) put old, old photos on all the tables. She was wearing the veil that my Great Aunt Billy(no relation to Holly) wore in the 20's- she was able to have it restored, it was gorgeous!! On my table, she put 2 photos- one was of Billy on her wedding day, in the veil the FIRST time it was worn, with my Grandmother and my DAD who was the ringbearer- he was 4! The other photo was of my mother dressed as a bridesmaid or maybe for her HS graduation? Anyway- it was so sweet, because I felt like my parents were both at the wedding (they are both deceased- actually Tuesday is the 11th anniversary of my Dad's passing, and also my Mother's birthday- yes, he died on her birthday. )
