What is about your trip reports that make me want to sing?!? In your last installment, I walked away singing John Denver AND Home for the Holidays...you know, "I met a man who lived in Tennessee..." Haha.

Sounds like you guys had a fantastic holiday weekend!! That cabin is absolutely gorgeous!! Very Wilderness Lodge-like! And that town is like out of a storybook! Must be nice to get away for a little while.

Oh and taylor ham? I didn't realize it was an NJ thing until I got funny looks from people who AREN'T from NJ! BUT they actually DO have it in other places, they just call it something different...maybe pork roll? Taylor ham sounds sooo much better!

I di go back and read everything that I missed! And it sounds like you had a wonderful time with great friends. I am a bit envious, that you can go to WDW several times a year...

I really enjoyed the Thanksgiving TR! The pictures of the mountains were beautiful. And I found it really intersting to see how people celebrate Thanksgiving.

I am so sorry it has taken me soooooooo long to catch up. I am turning into the world's worst Dis'er. It is 4pm and I am killing time at work until I leave for a work dinner. Too far in the opposite direction for me to go home and back. so, of course, I am on one of those pictureless computers and I can't see a blessed thing. But I can't wait to see your pics because I bet the smokey's were lovely and I would certainly like to know that short-cut to Pigeon Forge. I sure could have used that this summer.

Loved all the Smokey Mtn vacation pics. That was a beautiful cabin. And such yummy food.

Yes, we are fine. We were just very stiff and sore for a week or so.

Macy's was another thing on the not quite going right list. After training they had no hours and no hours etc etc. Then I got a notice that because I had not accepted any hours in the last 60 days I was being laid off. I was like...WHAT!?! Yes, I called weekly if not more looking for hours. I think I slipped through the cracks somewhere. Tried to get to the bottom of it but HR management didn't get back to me either. Still working on that.

All is not a negative around here like it sounds though. We got a new car and a new puppy in the same day! Puppy is in my sig.

Looks like such a good time for everyone at the cabin! Though it's hard to call it a cabin at that size. Wooden mansion maybe?! Anyway next time pick me up on your way.

FINALLY~!! I finally had a chance to read the entire trip report. Looks like a great Disney Trip and an awesome Thanksgiving! I wish I had known you all were going to be in the Smokey Mountains. We are not too far from there and I had the entire week of Thanksgiving off. We didn't really go anywhere....just enjoyed some home time, which was nice.

HOPEFULLY...we are starting to think about our next Disney trip. It will probably be in early 2012. I am performing pretty regularly down along the Gulf coast right now, so we are probably going to have our summer vacation in Gulf Shores or Orange Beach, Alabama this year. Elizabeth and I are both ready to go back to WDW!
