Podcast upload order on iTunes

I apologize in advance for my OCD, but is there any possible way that when the podcast segments are uploaded on to iTunes, that they be uploaded so that the News, Housekeeping and rapid-fire segments show up first? I believe that's how they were recorded. It's odd listening to the "first" segment and hearing "well, that's our last show for today."

It's no big deal, but if at all possible, just upload them in the reverse order that you are uploading them now.

I think they are uploaded in order. For reasons that baffle me, my iPhone thinks it needs to play podcast segments uploaded on the same day in reverse order.

I have another "podcast" (sort of) that I listen to which releases about 6 segments in a day to iTunes. My iPhone does the same thing to them.

I agree it is frustrating. I've tried to find a way to sort the segments on the iPhone but not had any luck. A work around would be to create a play list which puts the segments in the correct order. That is more effort than I care to exert.

That's not OCD- it bothers me too. Sometimes they refer back to a comment they made earlier except I haven't heard it yet. My other podcasts do the same thing and it drives me nuts. I have to say I don't think itunes is very user friendly but I'm stuck with it.

Simple fix...
1-Download all the episodes.
2-Create a new playlist in itunes
3-Drag them all in there
4-Put them in what order you want.
This way they will also "play" continuously as well.

I have a playlist called podcast group I keep in my IT Lib.
at work.

It has made me a little nutty more than once too. Other than the housekeeping/news/rapidfire segment, I can't tell which ones are first after that. I just guess and hope I get lucky.
