Podcast Team In-Park Encounters

I really need to figure out what is going through my head sometimes. I'm pretty sure I saw Ryno at Universal on Sunday night. So what do I do.....blow a raspberry and keep on walking.

I just know I'm getting Grinch Green @ all those who HAVE met any Team members (won't even touch my coveting levels on those who have been lucky enough to get hugs and/or pics!!), and now I'm going to become even more jade @ those who will be lucky enough to meet them during the 10th event! I might be so green and Grinch-like I might have to skip WDW next trip and go to Universal (which the Universal show has made me WANT to do!).

Don't be too jealous, Heidi. I suspect that the 10th event will not be the most ideal conditions for meeting the team other than maybe a quick encounter. There will likely be many hundreds of people there. I'm sure the team will have their hands full. A regular DIS meet where there are only 100-150 people is probably the best way. A Podcast cruise is probably another good way though I haven't been on one yet (going in December!). Just sit back and enjoy all of the posts and team content that I'm sure will get posted throughout the events.

I also want to meet some of my fellow posters (like you!). I may have to try a Meet some time - would remind me of "back in the day" when I did annual get-togethers (we called them Gatherings) of fellow posters - I think our biggest was around 200 peeps, which was good for back then, when internet posting was just getting big. They were a lot of fun - and a lot of work to spend a year putting together (I coordinated one). But very fun.

When we were in the Magic Kingdom in November I passed by three very tall guys, one of which was holding a camera and recording himself. After walking by them I did a double take when I recognized Ryno and saw it was Craig, Ryno and Steve. I didn't stop them because they looked pretty focused... and my kids would have thought I was nuts.

I did meet Kathy and Teresa at the Indy Dis Meet last year though!

I missed this post somehow.

For the cruise, I have us booked in a lifeboat on the Lido deck. It's as close to offsite as I could get.

As for the Hershey meet, forget your hair. We'll take you in full Hagrid mode if it'll get you there.

I think the lifeboats on the Lido deck are only tier 7 bravo 3, so about $6800 per person plus tax. They offer a great view when weather permits and give you full access to the pools so you don't really need a bathroom. I would still recommend getting a refillable mug.
