Podcast party!!!!!

I don't know if you all listen to the podcast but this week they announced a special event they are holding in Hollywood Studios on 13th December. They have hired Pixar Place & the Toy Story Mania ride for a private party for DU customers & podcast listeners!!!!

Well I got an invite emailed through yesterday as I made our Wilderness Lodge reservation through dreams Unlimited. I am SO excited that we will be attending the Dessert party (YUM) and get to spend the evening with unlimited rides on TSM and meet the podcast crew & other DISers.

Anyone one else going?

Well, now the stampede is over (I don't think they quite expected that sort of turn out ) - did anyone get two places? We got one for DH but I'm on the waitlist Just when I thought I could stop worrying about whether we'd get in or not Oh well another week of sleepless nights (and going to bed at 2am this morning) has to be worth it for this oppertunity

I understand why they set it up that way but I think they could have a lot of no shows. I personally wouldn't want to go with out my hubby. I just hope that they manage to get every one on the waitlist in.

I know Jules (saratogagirl) managed to sign up both her and her hubby as we have arranged a meet but I guess she was very lucky!

Got an e-mail with both our names on - so TSM here we come, and it's 3 hours now not 2

You just have to love the Podcast crew - they totally rock

I'm so excited about everything - the ride, being in the park after hours, the cash bar and the desert party I have wanted to try one of those for ages Then to top it off we get to meet all the Podcast crew and so many Disers - 450 guests

I am wondering if we'll be able to share pics tho as the email said you can't put them on message boards seems a bit of a shame

We are also going, it's our last night before we leave the next evening so a perfect way to end our vacation ! We had booked with Dreams as a way to thank Pete and the gang for such a fantastic website and podcast, and look what they do in return for those using dreams ! as well as the podcast fans! Amazing.

My DBF Kevin (from Chester) and I will be looking forward to meeting as many great Disers as possible! It's going to be a wonderful night !

Can you tell me what it's like? Thanks! I'm wondering if we can buy things like Disney books and such from the authors, and if we can pick up a copy of that new Celebrations Magazine from Lou Mongello.

It's great to see there are a few Brits coming - I've been checking the Mousefest sign up and there are only a handful of people from the UK showing (I suspect some are hidden)

We've never done Mousefest - I just got interested as I found out it was happening while we were there (didn't plan it) but it sounds like fun
I think you can buy books there, I was going to get a Passporter, maybe the 2009 ed. or one of the smaller ones (we have the guide from 2005 it's looking a bit old now ) and hopefully I'll get it signed

I'll post a pic over the weekend - just on a break now at work so not enough time
