Podcast Cruise - What was your experience?

My wife and I are going on the Podcast cruise in a couple of weeks. We are longtime fans of Pete, John, Kevin, Craig, Teresa . . .everyone. We've bumped into John and Kevin once at EPCOT (and said hi) and saw Pete from across the lobby at GF. But what I want to know is, how much interaction with folks on the podcast cruise is "ok" and how much is "restraining order-level"?

My own sense of propriety tells me that its probably okay to say hi during podcast events with a meet-and-greet nature but its not okay to interrupt folks while they are just around the ship enjoying themselves. I'm happy to see these celebrities live and to observe them in their natural habitat.

If you've been on a podcast cruise before please let me know what your experience was and how much was "ok."

We've been on all the previous Podcast cruises. You'll find the podcast crew is happy to chat with us when they cross paths during the cruise. They realize that you are there to see them (as well as everybody else) and they will be gracious.

Just be aware that you are one of ~400 that also want to chat.

I was on the first 2 PC Cruises in 2009 and 2010. From what I remember seeing, no one was really over the top with them but they certainly would stop and talk when they saw them. I truly believe the team enjoyed that though. They are a great group and that's what they are there for. We even saw Corey and Julie get hit up for autographs once.

Don't hesitate to walk up and say hi. You're clearly self aware enough to realize if they are engaged in a deep conversation versus just chatting with other Podcasters that also stopped to say hi. Many of the are out around the ship in the evenings after dinner and that's a great time to chat.

I had the same question. Good to know they are open to a friendly "Hi" and maybe conversation.
