ok, Kidding, I knew about the cruise, but I DID NOT KNOW I GET TO GO! So stoked!

I've booked our flights. Friday, June 22nd is the last day of school for my kids. We're flying to MCO on Saturday. I think we'll take a car service to the Port and find a hotel there. I'm still researching which one (although I'm happy to hear suggestions - family of 5 with 3 young children staying one night pre-cruise).
We'll spend the weekend after the cruise at Disney but I haven't made any arrangements for that yet.
I'm running my 1st marathon next weekend so I'm been focused on that instead of the cruise but once the race is over I will be here often I've only been on any cruise once and that was 13 or more years ago so I'll have lots and lots of questions!!!!

You've beaten WEbmasterJohn in your number of posts. So even if you have a lot of questions, i'm sure you've also got a lot of advice too.
Hope your marathon ran well.
We'll be travelling to WDW on the Saturday also. I've switched from Boardwalk to Animal kingdom to finally Bay Lake towers for that night. After the cruise we're staying at Boardwalk villas.
If I don't get to see you in person at least we can keep up here on the boards.

Hey Brenda,
We're staying at BWV after the cruise as well! We fly in the night before the cruise, actually get into the airport at 12:30am and are just staying there for the night! Still working on our transportation to the port and after!

Can't wait to meet more of this awesome group of people!

Started my biggest loser program yesterday, it's not going to be easy. Going home for lunch today and will take doggy on a nice walk/run (more walking than running).

Been thinking about the cruise and all the fun that awaits us. We have never cruised wiith disers but we sure have had wonderful times on land at TSM Dis a pool-ooza and the Breakfast at DHS for GKTW.

I second that emotion zendisney and can't wait to meet you and all the other Dis'ers! Have spent FAR too much time looking into everything about this cruise! But it's much more fun than most anything else....

We are getting ever closer to our sailing date.

I wanted to make sure everyone knows I have started a Podcast Cruise 3.0 Fish Extender thread on these boards. Just click the link in my signature to learn more and sign up.

I know there is another list in progress over on the cruise boards- that is for any DISer on the ship. You can certainly belong to both groups if you like.
I started this group for those of us who would like a more limited PCC-only group. That way if we wanted to add a PCC logo or just have a more restricted amount of rooms- we could do so.

So- please join in. I will maintain the list in the 1st post on the thread.

And after you posted this we did actually work together last week!

I'm starting to stress about post-cruise planning. Maybe stress is the wrong word. I'm starting to obsess over it! We're flying home the Sunday after the cruise so we'll have 2 nights in Orlando. I'm worried about the crowd levels in late June. Any opinions on doing a weekend at Universal for front-of-the-line access with on-site stay vs. dealing with crowds at Disney? My kids were just at Disney for Marathon Weekend and we have our annual week-long trip planned for late August....

Hi both parks are going to be super busy and hot.
I love Disney, but we have APs for Universal parks also.

For June I would pick the Universal hotel, due to the fact of the included fast Pass system, early and quick access into the parks and the crowd level being a bit lower than Disney's. August is a slower month for all.
If it wasn't for my DD having a Power Annual pass which restricts her using it in June we would have stayed in the Hard rock Hotel.

The countdown is moving quickly now! This month is our "passport" month, I think. We've been debating whether to get them or not, but it just makes sense overall. It's along the same lines as trip insurance for a closed end cruise like this.
