Happy Friday. Spending the weekend trying to get caught up on grading homework and on doing :laundy:.

Good Morning friends!!! T-minus 7ish hours until I take off to flee the country for the weekend. (I'll be thankful I see some other commercials besides political hate/attack ads.)

Friday is fabulous! :goodvibes
Taking a min-vacay to Bangor, Maine this weekend!

Going to see STREB Extreme Action Company tonight.
Saturday we see the silent film Jekyll and Hyde with live piano music.

Good Morning Everyone !!!! I had a wonderful time at Disney this week. My friend, who isn't a real Disney nut (like us on here) had a change of heart. Once she saw Disney through my eyes, her feelings have changed and is more than willing to go back with me in the future....she also learned the hard way, how to pack...she didn't expect to buy anything, but wound up having to buy a new Disney suitcase to bring stuff back...I warned her...but she didn't listen :rotfl2:

I had several great things happen to me because I was wearing my birthday button.....I got several pins given to me (without having to trade), I got a free locker rental after answering a question (correctly I might add) and had Happy Birthday sang to me numberous times....loved the attention

We had great weather (no rain) although it was very warm on Wednesday. We stayed at Pop Century and loved it.

6 weeks from right now, I will have checked into Poly and will be my way to DTD !!!!!

Woohooo!!! :banana::dance3::woohoo::yay:

Good morning everyone :goodvibes I'm not liking the very cold weather we're getting, had to cave and turn on the furnace a bit ago. Thank goodness we have the cruise to look forward to! Can't wait to be on Castaway Cay!

Just listened to the podcast where someone said a place with no internet was like a third world country.

Well, my partner thinks Walt Disney World is like a third world country because it does not have free wireless so I can't use my new iTouch.

Here's the cool thing! He is willing to let me borrow his new iPad to take to WDW in December! :woohoo:

All we have to do is pay ATT for one month. Does ATT get good coverage at WDW? And true, that I should not use the iPad for internet on the ship?

You didn't do a 44 which is the international dialing code for the UK :thumbsup2

As long as it isn't a major event with a high volume of usage (New Years Eve @ 11:59pm, the end of a race, etc.) I have not heard many complaints.

Hi guys! I never come over here (to the cruise board) but I thought of you guys today and maybe this has been posted (if so SORRY!) :confused3 But I just picked up some super fun glow sticks at the dollar store for our trip in December.

They had wands with glow animals and stars on them. Glow masks and fun glow stuff I hadn't seen before. I thought you might enjoy them in December and they are only a dollar :cool1: but then again if you buy 30 of them, with Halloween fun stuff and spend $50 it isn't so cheap. :rotfl: :rotfl:

Mornn all - hope everyone has a great Friday. We are anxiously awaiting the arrival of my niece sometime this weekend. She is taking her sweet time making her big arrival. I can't wait til she is old enough for Aunt Kathy to take her to the parks. My brother already says I can take her.

I have the perfect birthday present for her - trip to WDW for MNSSHP :)

Congrats on your new niece!!! And coming from someone who's had 2 over due babies and 1 extremely early baby (24 weeker:scared1:) the anxiously waiting is a good thing :goodvibes

Have fun! I get to transport back and forth to extra cheer practices all weekend. First competition next Sun. :cheer2:

YAY!!!!! I'm sooooooo ready!

I know there are lots of new cruisers here and realized today as I was working on my website that I hadn't shared some of the videos I have in a long time.

If you want a glimpse at the Wonder, Castaway and a few other ship surprises head over to my website and click on video/cruises. Even though we are on the Wonder there is additional videos you may want to see under the Magic tab, including a FE video and a bike ride through Castaway

Hope you enjoy!

Kelly

Finally...now that this last trip is behind me, I can start packing for PCC 2.0. I have a couple of bags full of things that I didn't want to forget to take. Also, have to have DD get up in the attic to pull the other suitcases down and see what we have...might have to purchase another set, as I don't remember what we have.....now the fun begins.:yay:

Happy almost weekend folks.

Sad day today as we close one of our facilities. Heading up the highway a spec but it is further and packing is a pain.

Cruising veterens - if I'm going to have a couple of boxes of FE items to get on board, what is the best way to do that? I'm driving so getting it to the port won't be a problem. Will I be able to check the boxes in addition to my luggage? Will I be able to get tags at the port to label the boxes with my stateroom, etc? Do I need to request additional tags, etc. beforehand?

As long as the box isn't bigger than a box that copy paper comes in you can check it with the porters. You can get extra tags from the porters but I would also use a sharpie and wrote on all sides of the box your cabin number.

We did this last year with no problems.

I am planning on handing any boxes I may have to the porters along with my luggage. Additional tags should be available there. I have heard of people printing out some labels with all the information needed to stick on the additional tags to speed up the process instead of handwriting on the spot - thought I would give it a try this cruise. (anything to get me on the ship a few minutes faster is worth a shot) :thumbsup2
