Cheri, I'll be thinking of you and hoping you don't worry too much about the surgery - just think of all the fun that is still to come

Hope everyone has had a good weekend, we've been baking making all sorts of treats for Gav to take into work tomorrow as his birthday was over the weekend. I'm glad I don't have to do this too I don't mind doing it but not all in the same week!

Does anyone know who specifically (if anyone) we contact at Dreams Unlimited to link reservations? TIA

I had this done laparoscopically too. Back in 1994, but I do remember it wasn't bad at all. In fact, the surgeon and the resident "forgot" to tell me I needed to take some time off of work! The surgery was the Thursday before Labor Day weekend, I went home on Friday, had the 3 day weekend and went back to work on Tuesday! Plus I had 2 little kids (ages 4 & 7) which kept me busy even after work.

When I went in for my next check-up (I think at about 2 weeks after surgery) she said I could return to work again!!! I told her I had been back all along.
I would have appreciated the extra time off of work- I was pretty wiped out each day. But no pain- and all has been well ever since.

It's normal to be nervous- but I'm sure you'll do fine and be completely healed and Ready to Cruise!!

I can't believe that cruise talk is only at 5 threads. Even with the sub forum, we were so much more talkative before. It's gotten really quiet around here.

Got into work and no internet connection again Luckily I think it was at our end it everything came back on around 8am!

We've only got 58 days to go
39 more at work
And 8 more weekends

When you are retired every day is what ever day you want... you just don't get paid...

It's just crazy quiet here. I used to come to the DIS - as a stay at home mom - and have to spend so much time catching up on all of the threads. Now I work full time, and my time on the DIS is very limited. I have no time catching up. As a long time podcast listener and very frequent fan of the podcast boards, it is just soooo quiet.

And happy Monday to you, too. Being not retired, I don't look forward to Mondays as much as I used to

I had noticed some of your posts had gone, I guessed it was you I have no idea why they would disappear - thinking back they weren't controversial. Is it like the Anti-Tag Fairy?

Happy Monday everyone. No packing for us yet, but we still have a quick trip to the Worldne first week of November.

Kristin (born teach) invited us to her families annual lobster fest yesterday. It's amazing how many lobsters one can eat when they're just piled on the table in front of you. Yummmmmmm!

I have to work today even though it is a University holiday I am working today, but I did take Friday as a comp day. Hard to complain about working Columbus day when I managed to be off Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years off.
