My how time flies. I can't believe tomorrow will be Evan's 2nd birthday. 2 years! He looks so much like his sister at this age.

Not having a big party, just family coming over. We're having a zoo themed party. Picking up the cake tomorrow morning (I love cake). Obviously different name and age will be on ours.

ETA - I am deleting the picture of the cake I posted. It has caused some unintended hurt feelings and I don't want to hurt anyone.

I surely hope you tell him this when you are taking photos for his senior prom with his girlfriend. :goodvibes:goodvibes:goodvibes

Just stating my opinion. And I take it as you are trying to intimidate me by threatening the entire group with holding information because of my opinion.

It was inferred, by more than myself that there would be something exciting in this week's show. As usual, I enjoyed it. It was informative and fun. I am super glad Kathy and Pete both shared the info about sugar free candy options. (Saves me extra insulin shots, because heaven knows, I am a horrible diabetic and would eat the regular candy anyway.)

But when someone is told to expect something and then is told wait a little longer. No wait longer again. Promise its gonna be big. No you have to wait. It gets old. You stop wanting to see what that something is. The fizz goes flat. The glitter dulls. The neon peters out.

I can appreciate the amount of logistical issues that surround PCC 2.0, in addition to your other work you do, as coordinating PCC 2.0 is not your full time job. I know I would not want to do it. I don't have the patience. Sharing information would be one of the funner aspects, in my opinion, and I can see both as an excitement and business factor, how releasing the info slowly is a good idea. However, I feel like I am being drug along like a puppet on a string. And not a fun puppet like Punch or Judy.

I find it difficult to believe that you would be intimidated by my asking a question.

I have to tell you that posts like this suck the fun out of doing this. Makes me wonder why we bother to try and make this better than the last.

Last week we were told that we werent releasing the schedule fast enough and that convention planners release information a year in advance. We had to explain that we arent booking a convention.

And now we are dragging you along for something that is apparently no longer interesting.

If it's no longer interesting or you no longer care or the glitter has dulled....then what difference does it make what I or anyone else says?

That's my opinion.

I'm sorry to hear you feel we are stringing you along.

I thought we were being very open and honest about the process of the schedule and where we stand. I promise that there is nothing being held back - you know who is going to be our guest speakers and you know about Jodi Benson. As soon as all of those plans were finalized I made them available to everyone. As soon as we have details of when these will happen on the cruise I will let you know.

The same goes for the transfers - as soon as we have info and make decisions I am trying to let everyone know.

I was not in chat the other night for the 'tease' but I beleive it was more of a personal comment between Kevin and one other listener. I am sorry if it were interpreted any differently.

You have my promise that from this point forward I will not do any more teases for this cruise. I will only release actual information as it becomes available.

It seems that you might be in the minority on this one.

Yup, I do not always go along with the crowd.

Todd makes some good/interesting points.

But for me, it will be new and exciting and I am happy. :goodvibes

That cake looks great! MIL bday today, I hope they have good cake at the party :)

I appreciate, as I am sure most folks do, your straightforwardness and honesty.

I would wonder why you "bother" to do it as well. Most people would prefer not to "bother" with things as they are usually a nuisance and are tried to be avoided. That to me, says you think we are nuisances.

Regarding the releasing of schedules and such, obviously it is up to you guys. Its literally your business. Whatever you call it, convention or not, your clientele is waiting, patiently. A couple years back, my mom took a cruise for Harley riders, hosted by a travel agent who also rides. There were between 1400 and 1500 in the group. Over six months in advance, she told me what she was doing each day and night of her sailing. Not that I had any clue what it meant, because I hadn't cruised at the time, but there was a plan.

Honestly, none of the guests interest me. I'm okay with that. I've heard Lee give the same speech six times. I'm not an all knowing Disney fan, I had to google the other guests. They'd be interesting, perhaps. I'd go and listen. Even if I didn't care for it, it would still be an experience. I didn't book the cruise because of who the guests may or may not be, I booked to share a wonderful (pun intended) experience with some fantastic people. That is what keeps me interested: The people I am spending time with on this cruise.

I am probably in the minority, but I for one would prefer to be surprised by the DIS events on the ship, rather than have each minute of each day of the cruise planned three months in advance.

If there are two of us, are we still a minority? :confused3

You can play the semantics game all you want.

You have made your point quite clear...as a matter of fact, you're transparent.

I appreciate your feed back.

Maybe next time you should book the much better organized Harley Cruise and maybe those who feel as you do will join you.

You've resorted to name calling Todd.

You...who I'm sure has been called every name in the book has resorted to name calling.

I've been called every name in the book and your nastiness is just another drop in the bucket.

I'm disappointed in you. I actually thought you were better and smarter than that.

I'm disappointed that I'm so obviously wrong about you.

I will happily release your reservation to Disney and release you from any podcast activities which don't interest you anyway.

Just say the word.......

Yes...it's Friday !!!! 12 Weeks from now...I will be waking up in Orlando !!!!

Today is my DGD 14th birthday...having a family dinner, cake and presents....I got her a really nice digital camera (Shhhhhhh)..she's been asking for one and dropping hints that she'll need it for the cruise...funny that it wasn't on her birthday wish list tho :confused3[/QUOTE

Happy Birthday to Rachel! pixiedust:party::bday:
Meg will turn 14 while we are at the MVMCP. She can't wait to meet Rachel.

Is it too late to cancel a cruise once you are paid in full?

Email me at John@DreamsUnlimitedTravel.com and I will cancel your cruise for you. If there is a penalty involved I will personally cover it.

This goes for anyone else who does not wish to take this cruise - if you no longer want to travel with us and want to cancel email me - if there is a penalty as of today I will personally cover it.

John
