Thinking of switching to 2nd dining. We normally eat at 7ish. Thoughts? DD-19 might be happier with others her own age-range.

Must be getting over-excited....Worrying about things like getting my luggage tags.

It may be a more adult group, depends when you want to eat and see the shows I guess?

Has anyone had their documents yet? We didn't get them at all for our Med cruise but it was no problem telling the porters which room we were in. This time with us being on the DU transfers bus it could be a problem as I seem to remember last time they took all the bags off in one go :confused3 I think I'll make my own if we don't get them in the mail.

It was really nasty here in Indianapolis this morning. They made all of us go down to the tunnels/concourse/basement of our campus of buildings for about 45 minutes from 9:30-10:15. Straight line wind gusts of 70+ mph, a severe thunderstorm warning, and a tornado warning.

It was pretty nasty, but once it blew through the temps dropped and the sun came out.

It's still a little windier than it should be, but I'm glad the bad stuff came and went without our neighbors' tree ending up on our garage.

Wow, glad you're all ok! Glad no trees ended up in houses :scared1:

Glad you're safe, Dodie! :goodvibes

We survived down here. And hey - at least you have pot roast!

We're on our pre-cruise diet... :sad2:

Keep going with the diet it'll be worth it for all the lovely cruise food :goodvibes

Soooooo, I had a mandatory (Code for boring) training today at work all day.

Rather than paying attention and dying a bit inside, I spent several hours poring over the Disney Cruise Line menus and figuring out what I will probably be ordering on the boat for dinner. It's the little things that will get me to the plane EARLY December 10th lol

Nice :thumbsup2 As long as the menu's don't change

Happy hump day everyone, despite being wet here it's a lot warmer! Have a great day!

Raining in North NJ this morning and I have a 9:00 gallbladder ultrasound. I hope the rain lets up by then.

Why oh why oh why does it have to be so dark in the morning?
Next week will be better (time change), but then I will be driving home in the dark.

I woke up in the middle of the night with songs from Rocky Horror Picture Head going through my head! I did not even watch Glee last night, I taped it to watch tonight. The songs came from reading posts about last nights Glee on Facebook.

I've already un-packed one suitcase. I wasn't happy with the configuration. I am getting excited too, just over a month!!!!!

"There is a hurricane 10,000 miles away from Miami! Hunker Down!!"

Funny, I was thinking the same thing--Floridian weathermen are the kings over over hyping weather.

Don't limit yourself. Have one of those and one of those and two of those.:goodvibes

Last night was the first episode of Glee that I have watched. We're big fans of RHPC. Guess we'll give it a whirl next week too. After I get back from the polls that is.

We are somewhat surprised about how much we enjoy Glee. It's become a much watch Tuesday show, when we are home.

Happy Wednesday Everyone! Woke up here in lovely NC to tornado watches in our area.......of course DD14 was not happy when she found out school was still on reg. schedule (7:20am :))

I've had the songs in my head since the weekend when Gav told me it was a Rocky Horror Show Glee this week :goodvibes

Storms yesterday left some damage in many areas in it's wake, luckily other than a few small branches down no major incidents at my house.

Stay safe everyone along the East Coast states at the system breezes through your area today. Heed the warnings, as the system dropped several funnel clouds over us yesterday, luckily none touched down here.

45 Days until "Fun on a Boat!!!"

45:
•Number of revolutions per minute of a small sized vinyl disc (gramophone record) that music was stored on.
•The sum of all the digits is 45. (1 + 2 + 3 + 4 + 5 + 6 + 7 + 8 + 9 = 45)
•The atomic number of rhodium.
•In years of marriage, the sapphire wedding anniversary..
•The '45 refers to the 1745 Jacobite Rising in Great Britain.
•Guns or ammunition of .45 caliber. In the United States, "45" is often a reference to one of two specific .45 caliber cartridges— the .45 Colt or the .45 ACP.
•+45 is the telephone dialing code for Denmark.

I am having a hoot reading this thread on the Cruise Boards about the color of the hull.

Is it true?

So what's your view? Blue or black?:happytv::happytv::happytv:

I'll have to see the actual ship to give you my color analysis, but more than likely it is a "RICH" Black which is a mixture of colors that will include a percentage mixing colors + Black to give it a stronger Black appearance.

In 4/Color printing the Rich Black mixture is:
75% Cyan
68% Magenta
67% Yellow
90% Black

<chuckle>

I recall a printed story by one of the early imagineers. Somebody wanted the trim on one of the buildings at DL to be "white". The imagineer countered that there were many shades (not density, but variations of color) of white and which one did he mean?

I have no doubt that there are many shades of black too.

Responding to my own post. I found the story I was recalling. The Imagineer was John Hench and you can read the comment about half-way through this story.

I was perusing my photos from PCC 1.0 and came across these. Thought I would share.

Standing at the ready at our muster station.

Tuesday - Castaway Cay
I had at least one of each of these while on Castaway Cay, except the Passion Maragrita. (Ever hear the country song, "Tequila Makes Her Clothes Fall Off"?:rolleyes1:rolleyes1:rolleyes1)

Wednesday - On Board, Palo Brunch
Life is short. Eat dessert first. (But save room for real food, too as it is spectacular!!!!!!!!!)

Thanks for the pictures Todd. :goodvibes That's just what I needed this morning to remind me of December as work has been insane lately. The light is at the end of the tunnel and I think we can make it. :thumbsup2

- Bill

Oh yeah, that Passion Marg sounds just like a drink for me! Our power got knocked out last night, getting ready for work with a flashlight is not fun! Felt bad leaving my dogs in the dark and cold house! At least we dont need the heat yet but we will after today. Man those winds were fierce! Runways closed at MSP opened one from the other direction which means planes fly over my house, hardly ever happens its strange. But no worries, in 40 days I will be in Florida!
