Gav got there about half an hour ago - he called at one point and he had travelled 100 feet in 15 minutes Another guy that lives near us had not even got there despite leaving earlier - he goes a different way and I think the conditions were worse.

Glad he made it there safely. We are supposed to get ice/snow today, so I think I'll go shopping. I'm not driving, which is a good thing. I'm hoping it doesn't do anything else, because we are supposed to have Christmas with my family tomorrow/Sunday. If we don't show up, they'll just do it without us. Hmmm, I wonder, they might prefer it that way.

I hope you enjoy your shopping and just do what's best for you with the family - if it's not safe to travel don't! We were supposed to see Gav's Nan and uncle tomorrow as they have just come back from Spain (alright for some ) but it's looking like it will get worse and I'd rather not drive if we don't have to.

I just want to get home now - keeping my fingers crossed they may let us go early (very doubtful)

My new year's resolution is to hang out less on the computer and more in real life. That means cutting out Farmville on Facebook and not following the threads on the DIS boards as much.

Been a while since I posted on the cruise thread. Been too busy trying to keep up with the DAP thread. Things are gonna start picking up around here now that DAP is sadly over. And going from 85 degrees in Floriday to 9 degrees in Mass is killing me. Brrrrr
