Hi everyone! My vacation is almost over :( . I do get to plan one more WDW trip before PCC 2.0, which looks like it will be in May. I just got to verify I can use my free RT airfare when I want to travel.

Im jealous! Lucky girl!

Happy TGIF folks! :wave2:

Winter I assume? I don't think they've built anything yet for 2012 :rotfl:

Yup, next month in Vancouver. Figure skating tix in Row 13 :woohoo: :woohoo:

George, looks like you got yourself a party going :rotfl: :rotfl:

hello all. i am back from two weeks in Malaysia/Thailand.

Wow, lucky you!!! :worship: :worship: Where'd you go in Malaysia? I've only been to the east side, far from KL: Sarakei, Labuan, etc. it there, esp the food. Did you have laksa, roti, nasi goreng, mee? Can you tell I love to eat?? :lmao: :lmao: I still remember going across the street every afternoon and picking a papaya from a tree for my tomorrow's breakfast. :goodvibes

I'm pretty late to the boards today; it's already time to say have a magical weekend all! :wizard:

cheers,
:flower3:

Wow! Cool! Maybe I will see you on TV ;)!

The Big E sounds awesome! Too bad it is so close to Indy and so close to my October trip to Florida. I would like to come to the east coast sometime soon, I will have to keep this fair in mind for the future! :wizard:

Hey Karen. The Big E is September 17 - October 3 this year. Maybe we could do a New England - NY Meet there during that time.

George, if there is booze involved, we're in. :thumbsup2 :teeth:

Count Val & I in for a mini-meet. Maybe we could convince Paul & Alicia to drive over too.

Count me in if that's okay, I only live 15 minutes away from the Big E.

You can ride with us. :car:

This is going to be fun. George, your idea, your responsibility to plan. It's the code! :thumbsup2

George, won't one (at least) of those weekends overlap your dates for F&W? I'm guessing we would aim for either opening weekend or the 2nd weekend? Or are we figuring a mid-week visit?

The Big E is September 17th to October 3rd. I was hoping it would overlap with Indy but forgot it starts mid September. That would have been and awesome little roadtrip. Maybe some of us could head west Shanan! What is going on with Chicago meets this year? :woohoo:

I've actually not had much in the way of drinks there. They do have the Guiness bar and some beers in their German tent. I'm sure they have something for everyone Alicia.

You got it! I'll start a topic later this year in the PCC 2.0 forum. That's where I'll be spending most of my time and recruiting from there. We can get an idea of what works best for dates. Weekends are nuts there so my preference would be a weekday. But as usual we'll do what's works best for the group.

Sadly Jeff no F&W scheduled for us this year. We've done five trips in the last eighteen months so the Disney budget is a little thin. And while I hate to say this, it was wearing on me a bit. :scared1: Deb is going in April with some girlfriends so she'll get her fix while I tend to getting the garden ready this year.

I'm hoping the NY contingent thinks about a NYC Meet around the WOD store grand opening in Times Square. That would be cool. :woohoo:

Absolutely Kim. We're all sleeping at your place anyway! :goodvibes

I am jealous of all of you going to the Big E. I love the grounds of the Big E. I ate at a great restaurant there.

Yeah it is kind of neat. Love the Avenue of the States. I've never seen a line that long for a Maine baked potato. It's crazy.

Help a midwesterner out here - just out of curiosity - what is "The Big E?"

I'm on it!!! Details to follow. :thumbsup2

Hmmm. I believe BFF Kathy said she had a guest room in that new place of hers. ;) L-O-V-E NYC.

(Plus, we will definitely be IN TOWN this Labor Day weekend, so we will actually see any of you who make it to Indy this year.)

Just a big ol state fair but one that represents the six New England states. Wiki does a good job of covering it.

Here is the Big E site. Not much up yet for 2010.

One of my favorite parts of the fair is The Better Living Center. A giant building with people hawking their wares. Everyone has a "show special" and I always leave buying something I need and don't need. It's fun though.

We could really have a solid slate of DIS Meets this year. The DISTour!

Chicago, Hershey, Indy, West Springfield, NYC, and then that place they call WDW!
