I woke up to hear on the morning news that my dinner last night was recalled - possible E coli. So far, so good.

I missed out on fireworks last night - at least seeing them - we figured it was soggy and not really worth it. We have some lovely neighbours who decided the middle of their street was a good place to light them off. Really people...NOT SAFE! I did mention to DH that I think our long stay at the Poly with the MK view seems to have spoiled me for watching local fireworks.

I confess to skipping chat so I could FINALLY sort through some pictures and post them to various places. I was running out of memory cards.

I am on vacation until next Thursday still...running errands today. DD wants to bake cookies.

No, no storm. I'm not sure what happened. Only half the street was out, it just happened to be our half. I was not happy!!

Happy July everyone!!! Madi has soccer try-outs today, and then we are done with soccer for a month! A whole month!

We have an offer on our house. I haven't seen it yet, but there is one. They are writing it up today. Now, to collect cardboard boxes in which to live.

Same here- our power was on but we lost our FIOS signal for the phone and internet (cable was oddly still working).

The internetz is out right now at home. DP called in a panic. Good thing his iPhone can connect from anywhere (or so it seems). Hopefully it will be up and fine for the weekend. =)

I go thru Kennedy very rarely. When I do, it's JetBlue, so it's no so bad. I haven't been thru Dulles in years.

I was thru Detroit and STL last week. I found STL very dark and dingy and with poor food choices. Detroit on the other hand, was really really nice.
