Morning everyone! I was up with you all this AM but went to FB first.
After storms rolled through here yesterday, we were left with lots of humidity. Thank goodness for a/c.
I am going to a funeral this morning and then work
I will do my best to make it to chat, but I'm not sure if I will make it. Sad days sometimes give me migraines.

I think I am going to head out for that mani I didn't get around to yesterday.

I did get to meet Ryne Sandberg (former Cubs 2nd baseman for those of you who have no idea who I am talking about) last night though!! He was my idol when I was a kid, so it was awesome!! I have had a plaque with one of his cards on my desk at work for years. Then, in Dec, it was announced that he is managing the minor league team 10 miles from our house. After the game last night, I was going through some old papers brought over from my Dad's, and I found a paper I wrote on him in the 8th grade and an outline of a speech I did on him in the 7th.

Just found out my little bro will be coming to visit in a couple of weeks

He lives in CA and I haven't seen him since our wedding in Oct 2007 it'll be great to catch up

He works at an aquarium and (haven't heard the whole story but) he's managed to kill a load of fish (accidentally) bless him, hope he's not too upset or loses his job

I don't feel well at all this morning but am trying to ignore it for now. Today is paperwork day with no clients, and I really need to get a lot done. I'll be in training all next week, so I need to stay caught up this week.

At least we are going to Dad's for dinner tonight. No cooking for me!

Good Morning Everyone!! Stormy weather here in Louisville Area. Rumbled through overnight. I would rather be back in bed, but had to come to work. I just hope I can stay awake in our Diversity Training this morning.

Tracey - I agree with ya. I ended up having my dog in bed with me. A 60 pound panicy dog. Made for a eventful night trying to sleep.

Thanks to you all! Yesterday was very emotional. My dear friend went into the hospital for an asthma treatment last week, they were prepared to release her when she lost consciousness and died. I'm sure they have figured out now what happened to her but yesterday wasn't the day for asking questions and up until then, they really didn't know. Stress usually ends in a migraine for me but thankfully it didn't last night however it was an emotionally exhausting day. I just didn't think I could handle the quickness of chat! I did go through the boards though and you guys always make me feel better, no matter what. It is just like having a big, extended family whenever you need then but without the guilt and headache!

I just hope I can stay awake in our Diversity Training this morning.

I'm sure many companies have this, but you dont work for an insurance company, do you?

Tracey - I agree with ya. I ended up having my dog in bed with me. A 60 pound panicy dog. Made for a eventful night trying to sleep.

I had a Sinus Pressure Headache last night ahead of the storms moving in, that caused me to go to bed early, instead of going to Chat. Then the weather alarm went off around Midnight for the Tornado Watch, then the storms moved in around 3 a.m. and I never really got back to sleep..Then the alarm went off at 4:30 a.m. time to get up to go to work..

Kathy, I understand about your Dog, my parents have 2 70+lb dogs that insist on sleeping with you or cuddling very close to you when it is storming.

My dogs can't be bothered to get out of bed, unless you are knocking on the door. They give me grief when the alarm goes off and bury themselves back under the covers until their other daddy gets up.

I tend to get those, I was feeling light headed all day yesterday (never felt like that before!) and I wondered if it was a bit of pressure.
