After storms rolled through here yesterday, we were left with lots of humidity. Thank goodness for a/c.
I am going to a funeral this morning and then work

I think I am going to head out for that mani I didn't get around to yesterday.
I did get to meet Ryne Sandberg (former Cubs 2nd baseman for those of you who have no idea who I am talking about) last night though!! He was my idol when I was a kid, so it was awesome!! I have had a plaque with one of his cards on my desk at work for years. Then, in Dec, it was announced that he is managing the minor league team 10 miles from our house.After the game last night, I was going through some old papers brought over from my Dad's, and I found a paper I wrote on him in the 8th grade and an outline of a speech I did on him in the 7th.

Just found out my little bro will be coming to visit in a couple of weeks
He lives in CA and I haven't seen him since our wedding in Oct 2007it'll be great to catch up
He works at an aquarium and (haven't heard the whole story but) he's managed to kill a load of fish (accidentally)

I don't feel well at all this morning but am trying to ignore it for now.Today is paperwork day with no clients, and I really need to get a lot done. I'll be in training all next week, so I need to stay caught up this week.
At least we are going to Dad's for dinner tonight. No cooking for me!

Thanks to you all! Yesterday was very emotional. My dear friend went into the hospital for an asthma treatment last week, they were prepared to release her when she lost consciousness and died. I'm sure they have figured out now what happened to her but yesterday wasn't the day for asking questions and up until then, they really didn't know. Stress usually ends in a migraine for me but thankfully it didn't last night however it was an emotionally exhausting day. I just didn't think I could handle the quickness of chat! I did go through the boards though and you guys always make me feel better, no matter what.
Hugs - hope the day didn't end in migraines
It is just like having a big, extended family whenever you need then but without the guilt and headache! I'm sure many companies have this, but you dont work for an insurance company, do you?
