Podcast Cruise 2.0 Discussion Thread 1 of ????

Hey everyone! Just wanted to say hi. We are hoping to do the next DIS cruise so I thought I would jump on here and get to know some of you crazy people! The only thing that's stood out to me is people collecting husbands and wives. Is the DIS podcast cruise really just a disguise for recruiting people into a religious cult?!? Just kidding. I must say that we've never been on a cruise and truthfully it's never sounded appealing to us...until we heard about one filled with DISers! I'm looking forward to getting to know more about everyone before the big event.

I got home looked at our pics, and it looked like we went to the park alone . You guys are too nice! Can't wait to do it again! And it only took us a half hour to get home!

875 rooms on the Wonder. How likely is the podcast cruise going to book 300 rooms?

What would be the impact of having one third of the ship's passengers be part of the same group? Is it often that groups seem to "take over" a ship?

It seemed like we took over during 1.0 too. Everywhere you looked you would see someone with a DIS lanyard! I cannot imagine what 2.0 will look like!!

hey everybody! I just booked the podcast cruise and have a question....i looked at disney website to see what rooms are still available and then req one of them, I can't believe how many rooms have been booked! So is it true that there are only a few cat 11 rooms left on deck 6 and thats it?? Oh a maybe a few on deck 5...deck 7 seems to be booked...and also if you req a room with dreams unlimited and give deposit does your room get held then or assigned at a late date...thanks!

Oh and I know this is all relative, but I get veryyyy sea sick, I reserved deck 6 towards the back of the ship (all middle rooms were booked) on the inside..is there a better spot?..once went on a rccl porthole room front of ship and was very sick the whole time, I heard lower decks are better maybe I should get a cat 10 and be on deck 2?? opinions??

My DD-2 and I have very bad motion sickness. We had cabins on deck 2 and never felt queezy the entire cruise.

Good afternoon all. I'm struggling to stay caught in, in the loop, or whatever it may be now that we have our own forum!

Anyway, busy weekend. Madi had a soccer tournament over the weekend, and we were gone. They got 3rd, which is super for this group of girls. Madi scored a goal!!

We put our house on the market today. And, for those of you who know me, you know laundry is an issue. Well, so is cleaning the house. It's a good thing I'm good in the kitchen. It's going to be a struggle keeping my house clean. I'd be okay if they didn't look in closets

for putting your house on the market and for cleaning.

Ask and it shall appear...
