Good Morning Everyone !!! The temps have dropped a few degrees today, and we have some light rain in the mix....feels good out there right now....but for the weekend, the temps are going back up....ugg...does anyone get the idea that I don't care for summer?

Beautiful day here too. Hope you have a great holiday weekend. We are taking my dad out for his 82nd birthday on Sunday. Other thatn that a very low key weekend.

How about you? Any plans?

Not much for us...very low key also. DBF will be working, so I will plan on staying in and getting some stuff done around the house...plus I have 2 baby shower gifts to make...that should keep me busy...might have the kids come over for a cookout on the 4th.

Three days with no work. All I did was rest, shop a little and go for walks.

I am at work and I am exhausted!

Doing great...I took today off so I could have 4 days without work...I ran all my errands today (and got called into work twice to take of little things..ugg)...we had a nice 4th....all the fireworks got cancelled due to hours of storms....we did manage to have our cookout before it started so that was a plus...and I actually got into the pool for a little bit

I have to go to therapy in a couple of hours otherwise I would plan on taking a nap

I have never booked a vacation this far in advance. It is driving me crazy that it is still 17 months until our cruise. How does everyone stay excited about the cruise without going CRAZY???

I love booking trips almost as much at the trip so I've actually got 4 overseas trips planned between now and this cruise LOL

Hi Everyone....just now got the time to get on here...been a busy day. Had to book a trip to New Jersey for tomorrow (had a death in the family)...spent a couple of hours just trying to find a hotel with a vacancy....we're leaving first thing tomorrow morning...not looking forward to the drive, I'd be much more willing if we were heading south.....oh well.

I'm taking my laptop with me, but not to sure I will have any time to be online....with that said, I hope you all have a great weekend and I'll catch up next week.

Hey everyone...I'm back...we got in last night...The drive up wasn't bad, other than some rain...then on Friday night the skies opened up...I haven't seen that much rain in my life!!!! Most of the roads were flooded, even the White Horse Pike (RT 30)...I had to drive in it for 15 miles....I was so glad to get to our hotel and hunker down. The next day was much better.

We did treat ourselves to the most wonderful subs ever !!! Stopped on the way in to town, and then on the way back, we went in again and bought some for the trip home and day after. Yum !!!
