stuck here, for a couple hours. But it was pretty. In our area GS superstition says call it 'snow' in the summer and 'rain' in the winter.

I'm a firm believer in the weather rock. If wet, it's raining. If dry, it's not raining. If frozen, it's cold.

I am still packing a combination of longs and shorts. I will want the shorts when the temps are in the seventies.

Hoping it is warm enough to go in the water - in the pool and on Castaway Cay.

I repacked last night while G was working on a rush project for me for the trip. I have pretty much a cruise bag and a Florida bag. If I leave the pirate costume at home, I can fit it all in easy peasy lemon squeezey.

If you wear your pirate costume on the plane, you will have plenty of room. Just a thought...

Me, too! Love the weather rock. If it is moving, it is windy.
Pack to be prepared, but weather will do what it wants to do.

YAY! I am packed! DH not so much but it's not unsual for him. He'll pack like Fri night even though we leave Sat. night. And the only reason he won't wait til Sat is because our girls have a competition all day Sat. LOL!

I'm feeling good though! And soooooo ready to go!!!!

One last look at the master packing checklist.

One more thing! Make sure I have an outfit ready to wear to work on Monday morning two and a half weeks from now. Like to be prepared.

Made the reservation for my "park and fly" at a Ho Jo five miles from the airport. Under $80.00 to park for 15 nights! I might not even use the overnight stay. Depends on the weather and my tiredness when I return on Sunday.

I have an idea of what I want to take but won't be packing until probably mid week when I can see a closer 10 day forecast.

I've learned my lesson about WDW in December over the several years, each year has been completely different weather. I have worn a coat, hat and gloves over sunburned skin more than once, the temps can change so quickly.

Hope everyone leaving has a safe trip, got haircuts this weekend, then packing and tidying up the house. I will try to not get distracted by Epic Mickey - haven't had a chance to play it much since I got in Monday.

BTW: it´s fr**king cold here: 22 F / -6 C, but it feels like 15F / -9 C. Luckily it will be 70s (20+ C) in FL by the end of next week!!

My last work day before I fly away from here.
Really looking forward to meeting lots of nice people.

Unfortunately, after I return from my fabulous vacation, I still have two four day work weeks to finish up the year.

Amazed that so many people are posting that they are about done work for the year!

33 degrees here this morning. I can't wait to get to warmer Florida. Next Friday I will be getting ready for Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party.

I'm going to go through my suitcase today and try to organize some of the stuff. I still need to get the litter boxes for the cats. Mail and newspaper have been stopped for next week. Laundry is almost caught up. Door signs are made and packed. I'm ready to go.

Good Morning Everyone...chilly here this morning....Daughter and I got our hair cuts last night, one more thing off the list. My Christmas cards are done and ready to mail...pulled out some clothes this morning and put into the "packing room"...will start packing tonight and hope to finish by Sunday...still have laundry to do...It's getting so close now...can't wait.
