It is a DIS meet with Kim. We are going to the movie and then lunch at Five Guys.
Hmmmm
....he wants to go to the Apple Store on Saturday...there's a movie theatre in the same mall....Five Guys is across the street...he wants to try Five Guys....hmmmmmm 



My folks will be spending the holidays away again this year so no self-imposed guilt this year.
We have large families, spread all over, and it's fabulous hectic madness when most of "the kids" head back to my folk's place and we celebrate with different functions over many days...but it's probably the kind of memories that are special if you only get them every few years 

Andrea - at least she can see what class looks like from your reaction. Fab that you've just decided relieve yourself of the stress of such a massive function. And good for Vinny for stepping up too 
I just started making my own pasta in March (yes, I lugged a pasta maker all the way from the Vancouver Olympics - don't ask me why!!
). I first tried unbleached flour and wasn't thrilled with the results so started using 50/50 with semolina, and the results are pretty good. Would durum/semolina/unbleached mix be better? I make it in fettucine-shaped; it is egg-free.
