As a cost saving measure Gav and I have been looking into getting rid of my car, Gav knows someone whose niece may be interested so tonight I get to valet the car so it looks a bit more presentable (it's 13 odd years old and in good shape but a bit worn!) I'm hoping it scrubs up ok Then I have to get used to Gav's car bit nervous as it's bigger (wider and longer) and I will be constantly worried I'll hit someone/something But at least we save some much needed money

Good to know the 3D is improving. The thing I don't like is wearing the 3D glasses over my glasses, but I get used to it.

I'm like that too but these ones worked great - weird it was like a different experience from previous versions but the glasses looked the same

Since I dislocated my shoulder Monday morning (ouch) I can't type very well, although I have been working the last two days and it hasn't been too bad. I have to keep the brace on my arm, though, until I see the doc next week.

We are getting a new bathroom tomorrow (thanks Bath Fitter!), Time to finally say goodbye to the pink, tiles, the pink tub and the pink floor - Yay! Gotta love those 50's and 60's colored tile bathrooms...

I hear ya on the old bathroom gripe. Just last week we decided to replace the toilet and sink in our 1/2 bath on the main floor... plumber came in, says pipes are no good - has to replace them all down to the basement. When they started the plumbing work, they found the old walls were bad, contractor had to be called in, and so on... long story short, the bathroom has been gutted. Nothing can ever be easy!

Okay maybe I'll just live with the beige tiled half-walls in the powder room, which I loathe, and leave good enough alone! Hope the rest of it goes smoothly, Andrea, and you the results!

Friends want to go to Texas Roadhouse for dinner tonite - I looked it up and it seems to have started in Indy. I asked the Indy folks in chat last nite and they seemed to know about it. Me, I'm a lil concerned they have "Roadkill steak" on the menu!

My Gram always gets the Roadkill when we go to TX Roadhouse.

Toy Story 3 has been postponed for us until this weekend or next week. The coming of the iPhone led to a late night of gadgeting last night and not enough slumber. Gonna be lucky to stay awake through dinner, let alone make a 9pm show.

Texas Roadhouse started in my neck of the woods - Clarksville, Indiana to be exact (Louisville, Ky Metro). To Ease your mind, They don't serve real Roadkill. Food is good. The restaurant has a roadhouse feel to it. They have shelled peanuts for you at the table and in the waiting area. In the early days you just threw the shells on the floor. I haven't eaten there in a while, even though the original store is within walking distance from my house. Enjoy!
