Emiel & Yvette - Is this really true?

Foreign Phrase of the Week
In Dutch - Alsof een engeltje over je tong piest. You say it when something tastes REALLY GOOD and it means 'It's like an angel peeing on my tongue." thanks to Friedel of TravellingTwo.com for this gem.

I switched us to OKW post-cruise, then called back later to try to AKV and couldn't get it. For the record, there are no value 1 bedrooms at AKV pre or post cruise. :sad1: But I'll keep trying. Never know what may open up later on.

Oh no, i hope you get it at some point  Are you on a waitlist?

We're thinking about trying to get AKL concierge :rotfl: or BLT for the 23rd - 28th Dec, I figure it's worth a try. if not we'll be happy enough at SSR.

DH wants to waitlist for BCV or BWV for the pre-cruise nights, when we call about the 23rd onwards I'll get him to sort that out.

Hi everyone from 30,000 feet somewhere over Tennessee/Southern Ky on my way home from WDW.

I booked my post cruise stay at Kidani this morning.

 Hi Tracey. Hope you had a good trip?

we got a 1 bedroom at VWL today for 3 nights post cruise. I was really surprised that I got it at 7 months.

:woohoo: :woohoo: well done, I think it's the studios that are hardest to get (apart from the Tree House villas!)

I would guess yes, those Dutch have a strange way of describing things (or is that just Yvet). Actually you should ask her what an alternative name for her rear-end is *warning - not family friendly :scared1:

Happy Monday all, didn't get out to buy plants yesterday - I'm still stiff and sore now. Gonna pop out tonight and see what I can get, then plant them.

Hope you all had a great weekend!

Good Morning everyone :wave2:

Tood - Can you post the official countdown...How many more days until PC 2.0? :)
Traffic was terrible this morning and I need a countdown smile.

Happy Monday folks! :wave2:

Whew!
Ten years of planning, seven years of fund raising, two years of construction.
Today was the ribbon-cutting ceremony for the library.

Congrats - looked like all your frustration and hard work paid off! :cheer2:

Just back from my offsite non-Disney trip. Came home with a DVC memership!

a very successful trip! :woohoo:

Got a ton done in the garden this weekend, including seeding of some herbs and organic mesclun mix - hope something grows! DH spotted a lil bunny yesterday in our yard - about 5" long bounding away from us - super cute!! DH said he wonders if I'll think its as cute when it hangs around my lettuce patch :rolleyes1

Make it a great week all! :goodvibes

cheers,
:flower3:

Monday Everyone!! I can't bring myself to say Happy Monday! It's icky here today, rainy and muggy. I just wanted to crawl back in bed, but need to make some money for the cruise.

Happy Monday, everyone. I am going to have a positive attitude and say that this day is going to get better. It certainly can't get worse. I'm skipping out on everything today to clean my house. I've been volunteering for several hours every day at school, and it is taking away from being able to get stuff done at home.

:woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: Very nice. Did you buy at both? On the Magic the DVC rep was saying they would soon be sold out of BLT as the new Hawaii resort will start selling.

Just at BLT - waiting for Hawaii for potential add on itis! :rolleyes1

Hi Donna!
Glad you made it home safe. It was great having dinner with you and your family on Thursday night.

It was great to see you as well! I hope your trip home was uneventful.

Congrats!
Thanks!

Us too!

If anyone is having trouble getting DVC pre-cruise, our guide mentioned to us that there is a Disney executive thing going on. He looked into it as he was not expecting to have trouble getting our first trip booked.

I was able to book everything pre-cruise, but I am on the wait list for Sunday, Dec 5th.
I had no problems yesterday booking post cruise dates.

It can't be Dutch ... as it does not contain the word THINGY! :hippie:

Good Morning Friends & Fellow Cruisers,
I am back to the real world tomorrow, when I go back to work. Though my boss told my "favorite" customer in an email this morning that I am out of the office until the 25th.
Finishing up my Laundry, I didn't have time to do before I left town.

I saw Bob Valvano from ESPN at the Indy airport last night, he was standing next to me waiting on his hotel shuttle.

So who's staying in the world after the cruise? We'll be there until the 22nd and Chris' birthday is the 21st. Give me your ideas to do something special. Remember, Chris doesn't like getting attention, he's more of the observer type. Also, we will have the kids with us (he's not comfortable getting a sitter for the baby, though the big kids could go to the clubs).

He could OBSERVE everyone celebrating a birthday party! If Chris consumes an adult beverage from time to time, he might get a few rounds purchased for him at DATW!

:thumbsup2 How did the girls get on at the slumber party? I hope you got some sleep and enjoyed your day out?

Oh very nice, can't wait to see some pics - maybe one day we'll make it further west than Orlando :rotfl:

Hmm, we couldn't get a studio at BWV or BCV and I tried at 7 months out. Do you know if it's just 1 beds or studios?

How about the MK dessert party? Or a sleigh ride around FW? Does he like golf? Spa?
Lurkyloo did a private dinner at Epcot - pricey but sounds wonderful :lovestruc http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2121903
